Yep. I don't like looking at the movie, and that doesn't help.I think what I'm not liking is the color palette, especially for the past sequences. Everything just looks beige dusty and hazy.

Kurzel revealed that he would like to set the sequel during the Cold War in 1950's America.
I thought about maybe not going too far back, maybe into, like, the 50s in America. You know, I think that could be a really interesting period around the Cold War. Traditionally, I think theyve gone back further than that. Recent history is something Im quite interested in. You can definitely kind of do a film-noir thing to it.

Justin Kurzel reveals where he'd like an Assassin's Creed sequel to go
![]()
Kurzel must have a boring imagination. He's given a property that allows characters to travel to any time period and see ancient spectacular things, but the best and most exciting thing he can think of is the Cold War? If this film gets a sequel, I hope they get someone else to direct the sequel.

I really hope that clip was just completely butchered to fit the "sneak-peak clip" format because the editing for that scene was just obnoxious.
every clip is edited to fit for online promotion how many times must this be said![]()
The awful editing aside...that stupid ****ing animus. I swear that thing is going to drive me crazy. Why is Marion's character telling him to jump like his life depends on it? Why is she talking to him at all at that moment? And him climbing around while connected to the animus and dodging non existent arrows.
Movie Animus, why you so stupid?!![]()
I don't think it did.
