or, we can do the opposite where people with smaller TVs (I myself at the moment have a 32" in my dorm room as well) mention the disclaimer instead. as havok pointed out, the average for television screens has gone up way higher. in the 8 years or so, I'd say.

and you really can see a difference, at least with 720pvs1080p. dunno bout 900 tho. I remember playing Uc2 on a 61" at home and the graphics looked great, but the jagged edges/AA had issues and visuals were also not so sharp - they still LOOKED great though. needless to say regardless of AC5's resolution i'm sure the game's gonna look gorgeous anyway.

Yea it's very possible I'm in the minority with my 32". To be honest, I'd upgrade to a larger TV but my entertainment unit can't fit any larger than a 32". I Just got a new job tho and besides my motorcycle payment and a few other bills I'll have some disposable income. A new ent unit might just need to be on my list of must buys along with a new TV.

lol, I think it's more than very possible we're in the minority bro. maybe for people our age, well I'm in my mid 20s, but for the average american household 32" is definitely small. Hell even 40" is considered small.

one day though, one day

what kind of motorcycle you got?

Okay, I've rewatched that story trailer again. Arno's tackling his trainer through that glass window. And the trainer is identified as a Jacobin supporter somewhere else. The Jacobins were the group that brought about the Great Terror, which involved chopping a lot of heads off, like what it looked like they were trying to do to Elise.

We've got confirmed Assassin v Assassin warfare in Paris in the game.

Let the chaos begin.

Just a little heads up, 4K blu-ray (2160p) specs are being finalized and the discs are scheduled to hit the market next christmas. If I were you, and this is entirely up to you, Id wait till next year and pick up a 4K TV. They dont come in anything smaller than a 40", but Ive found them already for around $1,000. By the middle to end of next year you can probably snag one for even cheaper. That may be longer than you wanna wait tho. I just I thought Id mention it.

ugh, does that mean you gotta re-purchase all the blu-rays you already have in order to have them in 4K?

Haha that's a pretty damn expensive tv.

I had an 02 Suzuki Intruder that my uncle gave me a few years back but It recently crapped out so I sold it. I'll be getting a 2014 or 2015 Ninja 300 here in the next month or two though.

Yea I'll prob wait. I think I'll prob look for something around a 42" as tbh I don't really like gaming on too large a screen.

Yea that's gonna be epic

Yeah, I guess you could argue that the Revolution was tainted by the Great Terror and led to the dissolution of the republic. Not to mention Napoleon declaring himself EMPEROR. The Revolution essentially betrayed its cause and it happened from within.

I imagine the game will address this.

Some films werent shot at 4K resolution and will never be in 4K. However, the new discs are going to be 66 gigabytes or 100 gigs (they havent picked one or the other yet). That's more room for the film which means less compression which means better video and audio. So even films not shot in 4K will eventually get re-released on the new higher capacity blu-ray discs.

I am looking forward to the co-op... I hope it's seamless.

Iv never really cared about seeing co op in this series, iv always preferred a more solo type assassin, but the co op here deff has me interested. Hope I can team up with some skilled ppl.

The full implications and aftershocks of the French Revolution pretty much defined the conflicts of the 19th century. The Revolution showcased all the idealism and righteousness of most modern revolutions alongside the hypocrisy and tyranny unleashed by others.

Arno seems to have Napoleon as an ally. I've been thinking that maybe Elise and Arno discover that some crazy Templars and crazy Jacobins are both allied on the Commitee for Public Safety, and that to stop them, Elise convinces Arno to back Napoleon's plan, meaning that Arno knows that he's snuffing out the same flame of a Revolution he's fought so hard for in exchange for a little sanity.

so, I was worried ACU would set a parity trend with other games, especially a game like Dragon Age Inquisition ( with EA having a strong relation with MS ).

well, at least I don't have to worry about DAI. Bioware confirmed today that the PS4 version will be 1080p and the X1 will be 900p. They wanted to "maximize" the current potential of each platform.

so, take that Ubisoft!! :o

Doesn't Bioware have a reputation of making promises that don't always come true?

lol if once means/ counts as Habbit these days then alot of people will be in trouble & the person that did that left Bioware. (if he did it as often as Peter M of fable video game franchise, that would make sense, But that wasn't the case ) cause talk like this seem it wasn't enough .

Don't count the chickens before they hatch. Bioware may develop problems with that 1080p version.

And by problems I mean a big fat paycheck from M$.

I am a bit disturbed by all the issues these consoles are already having hardware wise.

I still think they should be more powerful.

Considering 4K blu-rays hit the home video market next Christmas and that 4K TV's can already be bought for $1000 it does seem like both Sony and Microsoft set the resolution bar low this generation.

But I don't know. Making games at 2160p may be significantly more expensive and IDK the hardware requirements for running something at that resolution.

Well, it's just hearing Last of Us pushing the PS4 made me rather... concerned.

And when I went online people were like "loud fans are normal, it's pushing the console".

That would be like Infamous pushing the PS3 in 2007.

Meanwhile my PS3 is chugging along playing Destiny in 2014.

don't y'all be raining on my parade now. :argh:

I'm going to enjoy my 1080p PS4 version of DAI. :o

:oldrazz:

You know, I am so ignorant of all this resolution stuff, I actually didn't know what HDMI was until 2013. No, really.
