I think that is Edward Kenway. That's his armor, and face. lol. Must be an ACIV screenshot

More importantly 4-500 days till the game after this. Can't wait for that! :woot:

Altair was decent,
Ezio was perfect (will always be THE assassin, no matter how many others come),
Connor was okay, but nothing special,
and Edward was great.

Unfortunately, if the pattern continues, Arno will be disappointing. Hopefully they break the pattern. I don't know anything at all about him...the only thing I've seen about the game is the E3 stuff. Can't wait for the previews and stuff to come out.

Is anyone else concerned that the focus on co-op will hurt the single player stuff? Will Arno be less developed and rich as the previous Assassins? I'm a lone wolf, never play online with people, so I really hope the single player material isn't shortchanged.

I just remembered there was this show in the early 2000's called the invisible man and he had this arch enemy called Arnaud DeFehrn who killed his brother in the series any way this is the real spelling Arnaud, but it's pronounced Arno. lol man I miss that show. It's on Youtube.

I'm a AC nut! The series got me my gaming mojo back. I love it so much.

I'm going next gen the day unity comes out.

I'm thinking about the Xbox One - I know it's underpowered - no 1080p/60 frames etc. But somehow I just love the physical console, controller and the high contrast look (I can't get that look playing with my tv settings) more than the PS4.

Am I an idiot for choosing the Xbox one? AC is almost all I care about in gaming now.

An Xbox one for AC instead of the PS4 - Am I making the right choice?

It was shown at the MS stage at E3 so it can't be that bad?

the part I high lite I chose cause it was stated on EPN.TV and others like siliconera & joystiq later that if you buy a Xbox one with out Kinect the the power of the machine will be much higher and the makers are looking for way to use that extra power for graphics etc. ETC as in "and more"

Why don't you wait till October then and read some reviews before you make your decision? No one can really tell the difference between the two versions now. I imagine it would be negligible though

Wait a tick...the Xbox One can't do 1080p/60fps? What was Microsoft's rationale for doing this?

Neither system has been able to pull it off, at least not consistently. And in 2 years times, no "next-gen" game will be 1080p/60fps. Not as they try and make them prettier.

So you think the games will be a higher res and higher fps or lower? If higher what are they gonna do about these hardware limitations?

Yes it can but its on a game by game basis. Most developers have a harder time of achieving that on the X1 which is why you'll get games with a native resolution somewhere between 720p and 1080p. The spec on the tech is lower but apparently removing Kinect a mandatory should theoretically help with making it easier for them. In almost all cases the X1 is either equal or lower, but never higher than what the PS4 can do when it comes to resolution/frame rate

Oh that's not true. Plenty of PS4 ones are

You might wanna check that out.

I personally prefer Playstation, I just feel it's superior to Xbox. You'll also be missing out on incredible games like The Last of Us remastered and Uncharted 4.

Pretty much every game on the PS4 is 1080/60fps.

MS has actually been fairly open about fixing it. The only game coming out that has been confirmed under 1080 is Diablo and I'm willing to bet that's only because it's more or less done.. Taking out mandatory Kinect is going to help their games. Plus MS actually has a group of Ninja's (as I refer to them) that will go to devs and ask them if they need help making the game look as best as possible on XB1.

That's a shame that Microsoft released the system in that state. I'll still prolly get one tho, but not as soon as I had planned. I'll wait for an exclusive I can't do without.

My advice Bruce is go with the PS4. PlayStation has the better exclusives, and apparently at the moment the Xbox hardware isn't quite as powerful. Down the road when the prices go down you can pick up an Xbox One so you have both. But definitely get the PS4 first. Just my opinion tho.

Pretty much every game on the PS4 is 1080/60fps.
Watch Dogs wasn't, Second Son wasn't, The Order won't be, neither will Destiny, and they even lied about Killzone. I also believe tha Ghost shipped with it SP not being 1080p on the PS4, though they fixed that.

So the big exclusive this year wasn't and the big early exclusive next year won't be. The two of the three big MP titles, weren't. So the games that matter, not happening.

So you think the games will be a higher res and higher fps or lower? If higher what are they gonna do about these hardware limitations?
Lower. Too many console games sacrifice res and fps for "pretty graphics". The Order is already doing it. Don't believe their lame excuses. If you want an example, go to youtube and find a guy named Total Biscuit. He talks about it quite a bit. He even has a video dedicated to it.

I just chose my console based on price, and which exclusives I was interested in. I don't play Gears or Halo. So the ps4 (with its 100 dollar price difference) was my choice. Of course, now the prices are the same. So it just mainly comes down to which exclusive games you prefer. Personally, there was no way I was gonna pass up playing a new Uncharted game.

I own a PS4 and Wii U. I plan to get an Xbox1 soon.

I've always seen it this way.

If you like action/adventure games like Uncharted or TLoU, Playstation.

If you like first person shooters like Call of Duty or Battlefield, Xbox.

That's just how I've always seen it.

I've always thought so too, but with this new DS4 controller, shooters are a lot more fun to play on the ps4 than they were on the 3
