I wonder if we'll see the Napoleonic Wars, or if the game will stop just short of that.
You'll meet a young Napoleon according to what was said to EPN.TV, from Ubisofts creative director Alex Amancio Unity

Shaun tracks down Assassin's Creed Unity creative director Alex Amancio to find out what inspired them to make the game, and why they set it during the French Revolution.

The game has been delayed.....

By 2 weeks. Will now release same day as Rogue

Two weeks sounds like a scheduling / shipping issue rather than a delay in development, so that's a good sign.

This delay just makes it even easier for me to wait until Black Friday. If Ubisoft follows their usual protocol, Unity will be on sale for $35 on Black Friday, and Rogue will be as well so I can pick them both up. And Far Cry comes out on the 18th so that will tide me over some.

You should wait for a B2G1 instead if you're getting them on consoles.

So what did you guys think of AC3? I looked and there was no thread for it.

Could Connor make a cameo in ACU?

35?

First AC game I played, and I enjoyed it enough to be interested in this.

I thought the gun mechanics were pretty piss poor though.

I also disliked the contemporary frame narrative.

Actually hated it. Connor was just so moody and depressing throughout the whole game. Such a difference from the cheeky, fun personality of Ezio. I get that Connor is a different assassin but he was just so emo like. It sucked the fun out the game. Plus, the way Desmond's story ended, I was so angry. I'm one of the ones that enjoyed his gameplay and story development. For Ubisoft to just throw all that away after over 5 years of waiting to get to that particular moment, it just annoyed me so much. That's why I never got Black Flag. I want to get Unity because I feel it's going to be different and focus on the assassin story and not the modern story.

you didn't look hard enough as there is definitely a thread for it.

I didn't like it initially. Thought it was a disappointment. I recently replayed it for the platinum after ACIV and I got a new appreciation for it. Its not as bad as people make it out to be. It was enjoyable enough

that's what he wrote. The AC games are that price every single year at Best Buy. My fear is that the delay so soon to BF, may change that

well Thunder cracker's question was answered on Napoleon on this thread thanks to them saying so on EPN.TV . I 'd say it's possible, but I'd wait for them to actually say so. But it's likely, Looking at what happened with liberty & ac4

Yeah the new AC games are always on sale for $35 on Black Friday. I picked up Black Flag last year for $35 on Black Friday and it had only been out for a few weeks. AC Unity and Rogue will likely both be on sale this year as well. So if anyone's got the patience to wait until Thanksgiving weekend that's the time to pick up the new games.

Good to know. But can you buy it for that price online?

Cause, I'm not going to risk my life for 25 dollars trying to get into a Best Buy on Bloody Friday.

Lol unless you live somewhere like New York City or Detroit your life won't be at risk on Black Friday. The media likes to exaggerate and hype up the notion of Black Friday being dangerous, but it's generally a crock of ****. Out of the millions that shop on that day maybe less than ten are severely hurt, and I'd argue it's their own stupidity that gets them hurt. It's only as dangerous as you make it. If you get in front of hundreds of people knowing you aren't fast enough or strong enough to keep ahead of the crowd when the doors open then you're gonna get trampled and that's no one's fault but one's own. I've been to stores every Black Friday and have only ever encountered nice people and people who just want to get in and out with as little fuss and mess as possible. It's all about the attitude you bring with you and paying attention to what you and everyone else is doing. And believe it or not, the biggest troubled areas in stores on Black Friday are the clothing sections and grocery sections. People go bonkers over random food and **** like 10 pairs of socks for a dollar. I always avoid those sections and Wal-Marts in general. My local Best Buy sets up a corrale made out of large appliances that goes all around the wall to the registers. Only one way in and people can't cut in line or cause trouble. And they keep employees set up at intervals and patrolling in case someone needs assistance. Basically the whole store is rearranged to avoid crowding so that tensions and tempers don't run hot.

But to answer you're question, yes, the sale is online as well. Amazon, Best Buy.com, and Target.com will all three have both games for $35. And it will be on sale for that price on all weekend in stores and online. So you don't actually have to go to the store on Black Friday. You can go any day that weekend. But stock will run low in store so the best bet for guaranteeing a copy is always through Amazon.:)

Best Buy always overstocks AC. Its a big ticket item and Ubisoft manufctures a lot of copies. Its one game I always still see around later in the day. The crowd generaly clears out by 3AM as most people on line are there for TVs, laptops and other big ticket items. You could probably go there in the morning to get it, or just go online

I wouldn't say that. Amazon may be the worst bc it has more presence and has a limited stock that the entire country can pull from. Especially if they do the AC sale as one of the lightning deals, which have a limited 1-3 hour window. Those tend to get snatched up literally within seconds

so, do you think they will release DLC where we can play as Elise as the main character?
