Growing up is overrated. I still collect comics and toys and play with little kids and ride a bike and goof around. Maturity and Responsibility are not the same thing. Do what you HAVE to do, but who says you can't have fun while doing it

Actually I'll explain, See I teach Wing Chun and I record various cartoons for kids. One of my students has two kids that I also teach and after their class( I only have his kids for students in the kids class) they sit in my office and watch the videos. Which is why I know what All Grown Up is....not ashamed about posting the lyrics....just thought I would be wierd.

This is an interesting thread considering today is my Birthday. I just turned 29, & I have come to one conclusion about growing up.

If I feed my cat, pay my bills, keep food stocked, & keep my place respectably clean. I could hop in a tub full of G.I. Joes if I wanted to.

Basically handle your business, but when there is no business to be handled. Finger paint.

I turned 30 this year...and let me tell you, I wasn't looking forward to it. But I'm still young by many standards...maybe not SHH standards but others. I certainly don't act my age...but when it comes to life matters I have to be responsible. I am a husband, father, supervisor, trainer, etc...I wear many hats. So with each role I play, I apply the right amount of responsibility...but when it comes to my family and our time together...I am the grown up kid that I hope will keep me closer to my children than I was to my father.

20 scary age wait till your nearly 30, I suppose it all depends on in what way your immature or iresponsible, i mean yeah your nearly 20 but i doubt you have your own home (if you do them im sure your responsible enough) im sure you dont have children yet (when you do, you adapt as i learnt) and i guess people are telling you to act your age for certain reasons, Why? because they dont share your interests? Because maybe you act the fool? Your 20 your still very young, one day you'll have a family that depends on you you'll have bills to pay and then you can be responsible, mature (when need be, i have 2 children im 29 this year and im the biggest kid in my house but when it comes to the important stuff im mature enough for all of us) your still young, enjoy your freedom, enjoy your mostly lack of responsibility, it dont last long.

Its your life, enjoy it.

The years are going to start flying by really fast. It feels like two weeks ago I was 18, and I'm now 26.
