Hope you guys like it!! Feel free to comment!
its really good i just think the girl is a little too muscular

All great work here guys, just as always to be expected. :)

I will be posting mine probably later today, i need to give it a second look see if everything is well and done. Quite the story/work behind this one. Considering i have no scanner it came a long way to the final product. It started off as a hand drawing and i really didn't want to screw it up by trying to put color so i needed to put it on the computer so i can keep the sketch in cause i messed up. What i did was i ended up taking advantage of the great summer sunshine outside and taped the paper to a wall and then photographed it at the best resolution. The sun made the contrast be good enough for all the light pencils to show. Then the rest of the work started in PS. I fixed the perspective and so on and so forth. I don't want to brag, i just wanted to say how though it was to do and perhaps this will encourage others that might not have a scanner to try this method. I spend literally the whole day on it from about 2pm-8am (not to mention the night before sketching it). Like i said i will post the image in a few moments as im still fixing it up. You guys think its ok if i post the before and after (raw photo of sketch & final image)?

PS: Sorry for the long post

Ok well here it is, my first entry into a SHH or any contest since a very long time

h3drawing4ad0.png

2 days of work (1 day - sketch/2nd - Photoshop)...

PS: If you want to see the sketch just click the word, its links to the image.

Some nice entries as usual. Liking Mattchew's Castlevania and Uriondo's Street Fighter.

I started inking this but don't like the way it's turning out so I think I'm just gonna enter my pencils, even though they're still rough. Don't think I'll have time to really finish it...

centipede.jpg

My take on the classic Centipede...was never sure if it was supposed to be a plane or tank or what you used, but I read somewhere that it was supposed to be a gnome...so I ended up doing a Gnome driving a Tank with a Jet engine

why is the gun on the opposite side on the sketch??

Im not sure what you mean but he's back to us in the image, he's facing the sun (glow).

EDIT: Wow i'm a slow one... i misread your post! I wanted to add the portal thing or whatever it's called in the background as you can tell by the sketch, so in the final i changed the gun sides so it wouldn't block the view of the "gate" in the back. I ultimately decided not to put the "gate" in it and they gun just remained there as i found in most pictures he holds it with his right arm. No big reason though really.

pretty darn cool!

One of the best contest I´ve had the honor to run in. I´m totally in love with Supes45´s Zelda, and the Arcarsenal´s Megaman is awesome as usual. I love the centipede pic, too. I´d love to see inks and color.
Choosing a winner will be a very, very tough work. I´m loving too the wide range of videogames showed. Almost no repetition.

By the way, I have a nice idea for a comic artist. What about a mine sweeper pic? I watched last week THIS video and I´m still laughing

Great work guys! Now i almost regret not sticking to my sketch drawing instead of the Photoshop version. Almost... :D

PS: Comic_maniac, i edited my reply to you...i don't know where my head was at yesterday lol
