What the ******* **** ***** is Sony thinking? Nobody will pay to see this! Trouble was ruled as non-canon and expanding it to be a feature film is just pointless.

Sony know that they've screwed up and instead of trying to come out with a better TSM movie, they're doing all sorts of spin-offs to a failed property and ensuring further losses. Sony needs to stop right now. They should give Spider-Man back to Marvel and allow Marvel to relaunch him on Netflix where he can interact with Luke Cage and Daredevil and eventually Moon Knight, Elektra, Punisher and She-Hulk.

The only option to save both franchises besides returning to Marvel is for both studios to combine into one and do an Aunt May versus Victor Domashev film.

Asking because I don't want to throw accusations at someone that are unwarranted, do you think he had a part in the current formation of the MCU or the CBM renaissance in general, or do you think his overall influence has been a negative one? He's the founder of Marvel studios so while he might have flushed the Spider-man film series down the toilet, I feel that we owe him a little bit in terms of where we are today with superhero films.

If you go over to the Avi Arad/Tom Rothman thread here, the perfect response was that Avi Arad's basically Frank Miller. In the early days he was a godsend but as time went on, stuff happened...
