I can drown 3 times in 7 minutes!

Spot on. Do not underestimate this man.
Looks good, but I don't need to read another book right now.Return to James Cameron’s Avatar in New Dark Horse Comic
Dark Horse Comics is no stranger to adapting filmmaker James Cameron’s highly-successful film franchises like Terminator and Alien into monthly comic book series, and that trend will continue in 2019 with the release of Avatar: Tsu’tey’s Path, set during the events of the original 2009 Avatar.
Avatar: Tsu’tey’s Path promises to reveal never-before-seen events that were only hinted at in Cameron’s Avatar, which holds the record for the highest grossing movie of all time. Cameron has plans to expand the world of Avatar with four movie sequels, the first scheduled to arrive in theaters in 2020.
Doug Wheatley, will provide covers for the six-issue companion series. Dark Horse’s Avatar: Tsu’tey’s Path #1 (of 6) by Sherri L. Smith, Jan Duursema, Dan Parsons and Wes Dzioba goes on sale January 16, 2019.

I'm not underestimating him or the quality of the Avatar sequels. I'm sure they'll be good at the very least, I just really doubt that it'll have the same success as the first film. That's really saying more about the audience than Cameron.Spot on. Do not underestimate this man.

This is one of those movies where I'm not actively anticipating it or even particularly enthused about it, but I'll still be there opening day.I have no real anticipation for this film... But absolutely you are correct here. Never bet against Cameron.
It's criminal how we've had barely any progress in 3D for a decade after Avatar came out. It's been a huge cash grab without giving us the benefit that the tech should be offering in the way that Avatar did.I think the second one will make $2 billion. Just because, like the first, it will be a cinematic experience in 3-d that needs to be seen in theaters. And since we havent had a great 3d movie since the first one, it will translate to major box office. Now if its not a great movie and Avatar 3 is close behind, I can see the third one not doing as well but probably still hitting a billion thanks to overseas.
Interesting to see a non-standard film-naming convention. I don't hate them. These Might Actually Be the Incredibly Weird Titles for the Avatar Sequels
The titles, according to the BBC are:
- Avatar: The Way of Water
- Avatar: The Seed Bearer
- Avatar: The Tulkun Rider
- Avatar: The Quest for Eywa
Yeah, agreed. It seems weird at first but if those were book names they would seem normal. They sound like book titles. But eh, I can dig it.
Yeah I totally believe that, one day, I will find myself sitting in a theatre watching The Quest for Eywa. That's totally a thing that will happen at some point. James Cameron is definitely going to live long enough to make that movie. These Might Actually Be the Incredibly Weird Titles for the Avatar Sequels
