Sci-Fi Avatar: The Way Of Water

Trailer wouldn't properly play for me but from I did see and the GIFs in here I REALLY don't get people saying the effects and visuals are the same as the first movie and no advancement has been made. This looks amazing.

Edit: I’m also curious what role the white kid with locs is going to play. Seems like he’s keeping up fairly well with the Na’vi kids.
But they also have a human child among their clan: Miles Socorro, aka Spider, played by Jack Champion. Born at the military base on Pandora but too small to return to Earth, he’s been raised in the bioluminescent jungle by Jake (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña).
“Jake took him in but Neytiri always saw him as one of the people who destroyed her home and killed her father,” producer Jon Landau tells Empire of Spider, in The Batman issue. “So you have all these dynamics playing out.”

This kid was cast in 2017 when he was 13. They started filming live action in 2019 when he was 15. he will be 18 when the movie is out.
'Avatar' sequels add a group of kids because that's how you make a hit in 2017

Something went wrong and they cancelled all previews for my DS showing so I didn’t get to see this in the cinema unfortunately. Will go again though as the trailer looks amazing. Cameron still the king of visuals.

Get used to it. The internet is gonna find any excuse to downplay this movie all the way to the end.

Seen the trailer, its nothing special to be honest.
Ugly cgi actually.

I still really enjoy the first Avatar and while its not at the top of my must-see list for this year I am definitely looking forward to seeing this at least for the grand, spectacle of it.

The CGI really does look stunning and I'm curious to see what James Cameron has in store for us and if he will be able to top that crazy, EPIC, final battle of the first movie.

Next to the NY battle in Avengers 2012 its still one of my personal favorite BIG battle/action sequences of all-time and still holds up pretty damn well too IMO as far as special effects go.

The CGI's gorgeous.

WETA proving once again they're the premiere visual effects house.

Pretty much blows everything else out of the water.
Yep. I hope Cameron coming back and giving us his best visuals will give other blockbuster filmmakers a kick up the ass to get up to date with modern tech.

Going to be real. I don't have any love for the original flick, and when I saw snippets of the trailer on Twitter, it did nothing for me. The whole thing in the theater though? It did feel... well epic. It still does just kind of look like the original, but the trailer was effective at invoking size and wonder to me.
