I only hate the first cover since it uses that terrible promo picture of Cap (with most of his face hidden), but the other two covers aren't bad since they use the theatrical poster as the covers, and not some Photoshop floating heads. The Avengers is one movie I will definitely buy the Blu-ray disc for.

The DVD cover is the best one for me, to bad the Blu Ray didn't have that one instead. Those deleted scenes sound pretty awesome.

I knew something was cut from that scene where Banner & Steve go inside the Helicarrier. You see a weird cut where Banner is facing a security/SHIELD guard and then turns away quickly. Something about that made me think there was more to it.

I REALLY like the idea of introducing Dr. Strange in Thor 2. I also kinda like the idea of Joel Edgerton playing him. But good lord that Milo Ventimiglia part makes me hope none of it's true, lol. The Ant-Man and Cap 2 rumors sound like BS to me, and sadly, if those are BS then it all probably is. Oh well, interesting possibilities nonetheless.

Still, let's pretend for a moment that it were true. Then we'd be looking at:

2013:
Iron Man 3 w/ after-credits Ant-Man scene
Thor 2 featuring Dr. Strange as a major character


2014:
Captain America 2, aka SHIELD the movie, featuring Black Widow and Hawkeye
Ant-Man directed by Edgar Wright
Black Panther or Luke Cage

(Feige DID mention lately that they were considering having 3 movies in one year...)

Christmas 2015:
Avengers 2 featuring the additions of Dr. Strange, Ant-Man, Wasp and Black Panther/Luke Cage

Damn, if it weren't for those crappy Cap 2 rumors, I would totally be on board with this.

Lau is an original character, apparently.

Ugh, I hate all those covers except the DVD one (and that's not what I'm buying). Hopefully there will be a Best Buy or Target exclusive that has a nicer BluRay cover.

But f*** yeah to a Whedon commentary and GAG REEL!! I wish there were a feature-length making-of, though. "Featurettes" doesn't usually mean very much.

I'm disappointed that they only put a digital copy with the 3D Blu-ray version and not the 2D Blu-ray as well. As for the breakdown of the discs, looks like one whole disc for special features, which seems about right for the scope of this movie.
