If they were trying to make it obvious, having Thor say "He's a warrior, he won't yield" really didn't help.

Plus, JL never had Batman "leg sweeping" or "shoulder tossing" Superman.

True. But they did in the(in continuity) Superman TAS show.

Thor lifted the entire island of Manhattan in the first episode. What more do you want?

Actually he slowed it down, but I was still satifying none the less ;)

But guess what, he hasn't done anything remotely that cool since & it's 11 episodes later. Besides, even tho they've portrayed Thor with a decent power level, he's still not shown to be efficient in combat situations.

And it's believable when the character doesn't expect it. Superman might be able to move the Moon and Thor can strike down Frostgiants, but neither of them weigh tons.

I loved Superman's dumb look on his face, when Batman actually tossed him over his shoulder.

Thanks, now I feel a bit better about the Thor & Cap situation :)

Oh yeah, Thor has moved moons as well (lol)

So how many episodes are left and how long will the hiatus run?

I loved watching Superman smack Batman into the table 3 seconds later, and loved watching Supes backhand Bats into a wall in "Twilight of the Gods part 2" of Justice League season 2's opening 2-parter. :cwink:

It was a little silly watching Cap manhandle Thor when he woke up but amazingly it didn't feel as obnoxious as the 2009 Hulk Vs. Thor feature.

Oh well, I'm back to feeling how I used to feel about the Thor & Cap situation. Superman did atleast smack Bats around, while Thor didn't even land a blow on Cap :(

To me the Cap & Thor fight was equally as demeaning as 2009's Hulk Vs Thor foolishness.

Well, Cap was on adrenalin and ready to fight, with a Thor that didn't want to hurt him. Batman, after he tossed Superman, didn't pay attention to him anymore, because he was trying to go after the mobster.

Well, Avengers Invaders had Thor on the side of the Nazi's, although I think that was just for the purposes of that particular story.

The subject was discussed in one of those Marvel liveblogs.

Something that was meant to be and isn't anymore doesn't make it so. Here's an example: Bruce Timm stated that he considered doing a crossover with the Teen Titans show, but decided against it. There's also a nod to the show in Static Shock, where Batman mentions the Titans. So that reference must mean that Teen Titans is part of the DCAU. No it doesn't. The same can be said here.

Oh I know he's a badass and he works his tail off since he doesn't have any other extraordinary abilities other than his dead eye aim. But I think they're going to far when he is leaping several stories on to things and back down with out a second thought. It just seems crazy how much they have Hawkeye doing. Everyone else with the exception of Cap I think they've nailed.

To me, he's shown to be ALOT more efficient than Green Arrow was in JLU. GA's explosive arrows didn't even phase Mutated Eiling, while Hawkeye's arrows hurt Hulk.

And in fairness to Thor, he's shown to never give up. A good example would be Gamma World. Up against Abomination and Absorbing Man---He was even told that it was usless to fight--- "NEVER" Thor said. He also took on the MoE and was winning until Enchantress took away his hammer. Villains have to practically dog-pile to stop him from getting up (Masters of Evil, Gamma World part 1 [Mutated Wrecking Crew] and 2 [Mutated Gamma monsters]. He also showed that he was flameproof in the Wonder Man episode when AIM was taking off. Plus there was that artificial black hole he got rid of.

Plus let's not forget this series is up to Episode EIGHTEEN. Let's wait a little before writing my favorite Avenger off, hmm?

So one warrior recognizing another and acknowledging him as such hurts Thor and his standing how? Yeah... it does not. :whatever:

As far as Batman and Superman… Well trying to limit that paper thin argument to “just JL" is pretty weak sauce because there are plenty of other examples to the contrary. I suggest you read more comics and watch more DC animation. When you look at all mediums it is crystal clear that your statement is so freaking wrong it needs a whole new word to describe how wrong it is.

Enjoy the vid.

Still not watched the most recent ep. Considering holding out so I can watch them back to back.

We ALL know that Batman has done things to Superman in the comics & in other forms of animation. But we were talking about Thor vs Cap in the AVENGERS EMH so it's only fair to compare that to Justice League.

It's pretty stupid to say "He's a warrior, he won't yield" if you have the ability to actually make them yield. So yeah, it does make it seem like he's incapabable of doing so

Who's your favorite Avenger?

Who's your favorite Avenger?

Thor. While I heard little to nothing about him until Iron Man 2's little cameo after the credits, he's easily my favorite. Thor FTW.

My second is Wasp, third is Hawkeye, fourth is Black Panther, fifth is Cap. America, Iron Man and Hulk are pretty even, Giant-Man/Ant-Man's pretty cool too.

The latest episode was great. Looking forward to see the conclusion next week.
