The latest episode was pretty good, and pretty good conclusion to an 3-parter! We got tons of action, we got Wasp being the carebear of the team, great quotes from Hulk towards Thor, Iron Man's way of planning things and whatnot. Kang's ignorance and egoism was abit stupid, but thats really his downside, he couldn't accept the other solutions but just wanted to conquer to get what he wanted.

I liked the last minute cameos aswell, but dat foreshadowing!

Kang's words were full of truth. I guess it means: Ultron Saga, Kree-Skrull War &... Civil War???

Anyways, it was an awesome Saga altogether. I liked it a lot better, than Gamma World. So much to expect from the upcoming episodes & season 2. Wicked!
 
Oh My where do I start? That was a great trilogy!!! Man you know I loved the JL toon, but season 1 of the Avengers blows JL out of the water as far as season 1 goes. Kang was awesome! And Ultron? Oh boy here we go! Loved the cameo at the end. But man I wonder what the heck is Cap gonna do? I wonder if it will involve him not wanting to kill the supreme intelligence like the comic when they disagreed with him. When is this going to be on DVD? Where are my toys? Nice to see Jan in civilian clothes.
 
Pretty good episode. Hopefully this doesn't mean the Avengers'll be taking a vactaion next weekend, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT???

Two other things: I only saw Mr. Fantastic, were there any other Fantastic Four members? And how are we gonna get an Avengers vs Fantastic Four if Hank, Reed and Stark are already on good terms with discussing Prison 42.
 
I hope we don't see a Civil War in the series. Or if they do I hope it's plotted at least semi-intelligently. So many things about that event didn't work at all.

HERBIE was also in the lab with Fantastic and Pym.

I don't think anyone ever said we would see Avengers fighting Fantastic Four. But I bet they could figure something out when they wanted to. Hulk and Thing are so hotheaded it would be pretty easy for them to get into a fight.

What happens next. There are still the other villains on the loose. There's Loki's master plan that's been brewing since the beginning of the season. There's the Ultron saga. And of course the Kree Invasion. And the Skrulls have already infiltrated the planet and had a sleeper agent in HYDRA. And AIM and Modok have managed to put together a working cosmic cube.
 
You know, overall I didn't feel pretty satisfied. I feel like the whole thing could've gone on for at least another episode.

But we did get a cameo of Mr. Fantastic, that was pretty neat.

Yeah, at the end in the prison sequence, Johnny walks by. Don't blink or you'll miss it. HERBIE also makes an appearance.
 
I don't care if Civil War business works out or don't in this series) Just bring teh awesomeness, more cool stories & we're all happy)
 
Uh, that's not Johnny that's a SHIELD agent. And Chris Yost himself said there might be a Hulk vs Thing.

Strange. T'Challa never showed up in this episode. Or did I miss that? 'Cause the credits said so. I also find it interesting that all the ships stationed at Wakanda disappeared. T'Challa either figured it out or he was told.
 
I think that blonde guy was the SHIELD agent that appeared in Gamma World.

Didn't ALL the ships disappear when the Avengers defeated Kang?
 
I wish Tony would've kept wearing his Space Armor (Iron Man fan alert, Silver Centurion Armor). It's really good-lookin' & more advanced, than his Red & Gold Mark VI armor.
 
Yeah the Damocles didn't tho.

So all those Kang troopers got ERASED FROM EXISTENCE! MWAHAHAH!

And honestly I did like the design for the space armor a lot more. I liked the color scheme and I thought the overall design was a little tighter.
 
^^^ Indeed, that weapon must've been the equivilant of a nuclear explosion if it was gonna take out all of New York.

Stark's a REAL genius if he came up with all those armored suits AAAND improving his own in a short amount of time, I mean SERIOUSLY.

I also find it funny Hulk and Hawkeye find Ultron creepy. Their instincts are on the right path apparently.
 
Yeah, seeing something close to Busiek's Ultron Saga would be beyond any of my expectations for this series!
