There aren't 15 more weeks to go.

More and more competition each week (these films need to take over the screens, you realise that?) + Disney usually keeps their films in cinemas for 12 weeks, after which they release them on home media.

According to Box Office Mojo: IFW went 20 weeks. Black Panther went 25, Avengers went 22, Ragnarok went 19, AMatW went 17, SMHC went 21, GotG 2 went 20, Avengers AoU went 23.

By comparison Avatar went 34.

I chose IFW as the model because it seems to me to be the one that most closely resembles EG. Though I will say week 11-12 is where revenues seem to fall dramatically and at the closing week they're pulling in less than $100,000 for the week. My point is in the case of beating Avatar its starting to look like you're going to need revenue from weeks 12-20 because of how close it's going to be.

$807,7 mil Domestic total.
$2695,5 mil WW (without Wednesday & Thursday from OS).

I think the final Domestic total will be $849 mil. Based on the drops from IW for the same dailies.

So assuming OS can match the remaining US grosses we re looking at $2782 mil final WW.
Im getting a $2782 final with my projections a second time now.

I’m more sad that the culmination of this amazing run is really over. Cap and Tony has been a huge part of my movie going experience, it’s going to be weird not seeing them for years to come.
