The Avengers Avengers Score : Singular, Or Multiple Composer?

I can't wait to hear the rest of the Avengers theme at the end.

I absolutely love it. The score sounds so thrilling that I've already got goosebumps just from listening to the clips.

Looks like Silvestri delivered a fun score. Can't wait to hear the full 'Avengers' theme in the film.

... but on the other hand, it looks like we're going to have to wait a while for the CD release or even worse, a download-only version of it.

Wow, that Avengers theme! Really rousing, old school stuff. Whedon wasn't kidding when he said he wanted a John Williams vibe.

Really good score from Silvestri. The one track that interests me is "A Promise" since it has a vibe that would be perfect for a possible Steve and Peggy reunion. I have a feeling that we'll hear that as everyone heads off at the end and Steve goes to find her.

I think they might leave the Steve/Peggy reunion for CA@. Whedon said that he avoided putting in scenes that dealt with big issues from the heroes' individual films so as not to tread on other writers' turf.

My thinking is that it might be a graveside scene or a promise to reunite.

The last track, The Avengers, sounds amazing - especially towards the end of that sample with the horns.

You can hear some of those trademark Silvestri qualities that were evident in the CA:TFA score too.

I was just thinking on how they have the group shot at the end in Central Park and everyone goes off on their own. They showed Steve/CA heading off on his Harley, which could be when he leaves to go find out where Peggy is, but doesn't actually show the meeting.

When I see the track title "One Way Trip", I imagine that to concern a 'one way trip' back to Asgard.

The score's a nice tease, in that we can't derive that much about the film from the titles. :woot:

I can't wait to hear all the tracks especially the last one and Arrival in full! Silvestri was a great choice!

I'm all giddy and ****!

That's what I like about how they named them. Sometimes the names of score tracks are just way too obvious and give away every step of the movie.

Yea...unlike that Deathly Hallows Pt II score. Great score, terrible titles.

I was expecting something like CA:TFA's score, though - with around 25 tracks.

18 still suffices. :woot:

What an awesome surprise love all the tracks! Can't wait to hear them in full! Liking it more than Caps score so far off the clips :D

The Avengers theme sounds so classical but doesn't sound like something memorable yet. Hopefully the full picture depicts something worth listening to without the movie itself!

I'm relistening to the samples. It might be better than his "Captain America" score... and "Assemble" and "The Avengers" look to be the standout cues in the soundtrack release.

I am glad the UK is getting the download only album on April 20th. Waiting for May to hear it in the film would be torture.

IMO that last Avengers sample was awesome. And when we see it in the context of the movie it's going to be elevated to mindblowing.

I agree, but out of context for now and only hearing 30 seconds is teasing as ****! Just want to hear the whole thing!

Haha!

"The Avengers" track was quite memorable for me. I can get into the beat at the start, and the horns certainly add that 'superhero' feel to it (whilst also harkening a John Williams vibe).

I'll be downloading the score on the 20th - although I would have liked to listen to it more than just 5 days before I see the film, lol.

Poor you. You're welcome to wait until May to see the film at the same time as us American moviegoers. :oldrazz:

I'm liking it. Really want to hear more of "One Way Trip".
