I suspect next week's WatXM issue will clarify both his and Beast's feelings on the matter a bit more. Although it seems like kind of a given at this point that Beast is fully on the Avengers' side.

Wolverine's always had an issue with Hope though. I remember somewhere he was talking to her about how people like her always go nuts and it always falls to people like him to take her out. It was in regards to why he always kept distant from her and why he always had an attitude about her. He was trying not to get attached.

So his siding with Cap at the beginning of this is somewhat reasonable, as he's expected something like this with Hope since she first showed up. He's likely assuming the worse.

yeah it was UXM 539, also written by Gillen. Logan alluded to the fact that he'd have to kill her and he'd make it quick and Hope pretty much told him that if and when that happens to make sure he actually does it. I wonder if that was foreshadowing
