Bendis is the Liefeld of the 00s. Inexplicably popular. Limited amount of talent.
Bendis doesn't always equal gold though. His Moon Knight and Spider-woman hardly sold well.Wherever he goes, it'll start selling well. The market seems to love Bendis.
But I'd totally sacrifice WatXM's greatness to Bendis if it meant Waid on Avengers. That would be a dream come true for me.

Um, that's like 70% of his run.The only issue that I think has actually been on par with W&tXM and X-Force was the Phalanx issue and maybe the Breakworld Aftermath arc.
Um, that's like 70% of his run.
Nah, it's four issues out of seven.4 issues out of about 15 comics really isn't that great of a record. His run hasn't been bad in the slightest but certainly not up to W&tXM and Unc. X-Force standards. He also has the bad luck of being stuck with Greg Land's pencils, which doesn't convey story very well.
If Bendis IS coming to X-Men, this is the title he would get plus another likely. I dont' think it really matters which of X-Men, X-Men Legacy, or Astonishing X-Men he'd get... but he'd get one of them. The only other option I see is if they cancel one of those and launch some new X-Men book and he'd start that as a new flagship book or something. I guess all that depends on how AvsX ends.
Haha, that would be awesome. Beast, Storm, Wolverine, and... I don't know, Luke Cage and Spider-Man, just 'cause. Instant #1 hit!Bendis on Wolverine and the X-Men would be a travesty. I never expected to like that title, but it's rocking socks. Just have him take over Astonishing or Legacy. Or... in what surely will blow your minds: Avenging X-Men.
Nah, it's four issues out of seven.
His issues in the last volume were him trying to dig out of the utter **** that was Fraction's run.
To be truthful, I haven't found Uncanny at enjoyable since...um...1986, maybe? I'm not a fan of it. At all. That said, Gillen's run actually has kept my interest, I'd be disappointed if he left.
