The Dark Knight AWESOME Heath Ledger Joker Impression!

He's pretty good but he messes up some of the lines and isn't as enthused in some of the sayings as Ledger was but that's because it takes time to get into that character.

If these knuckleheads put all that effort into schooling and education we wouldn't be behind the rest of the industrialized world in standardized testing scores. With youtube everyone thinks they are a celebrity.

Oh, lighten up already. Life is for living or, as someone once said:

"Why so serious?"

(you knew that was coming, didn't you?)

He should have put on some Joker makeup, 'cause without it he looked silly. He was good with the voice though.

he is pretty good, ppl got to give him credit. Dont expect anyone to do a SPOT ON impression, NO ONE will but people will get darn close, like this guy.

It was alright, but my feeling on Joker impersonations is the same as my feelings on fan fiction: Everyone thinks theirs is great, but no one else really gives a s***, unless they're desperate for something.

What makes Heath's performance so remarkable is that everything he does is his own creation. Copy cats are not nearly as cool.

Yeah I can do a spot on imitation but it just isn't as cool because I didn't come up with it myself.

It's stuff like this and some other guys on youtube that give me faith that Heath can in fact be topped by another incredible actor.

What? If random youtube guys can pull off something even remotely similar to what he did, than an actual accomplished actor should be able to do it ten fold. It's okay to have faith that this Joker can be topped.

Except that the "actors" on youtube are impersonating him. They arent trying something new, they're doing the exact thing he did, the same lines in the same voice, but its just a little less good. If any accomplished actor tried to do what Heath did, they would be scoffed at. It would seem as though they were spoofing him. Any other actor should take a different approach, in which case it wouldnt top Heath, it would be entirely different.

That'd be going completely backwards. So all of a sudden we're gonna have a different Joker than before. Those guys impersonating on youtube weren't spoofing. They were doing their own impersonations of what Heath did. There was nothing disrespectful at all about it. Whoever comes after him is going to go into the project wanting to carry on the same mannerisms right down to the ticks. It would be crazy not to. Especially if they want to stick to the whole realism shtick. I don't understand why they'd want to suddenly go a different route with the Joker after all the praise around it. So I'm gonna stick to my original post. I have faith this Joker can be topped. People act like that's a bad thing. Like it's blasphemous to think it.

You didnt listen to a word I said. I wasnt saying that the guys on youtube were spoofing him at all. I said they were impersonating him. They are doing exactly what he did, right down to the lines. I was saying that if an actor did the same thing that Heath did on the big screen, it would seem like a spoof. I mean, its what Heath did, its a character that he worked with Nolan to create. If someone else did what he did in a sequel, it would just seem wrong. It would seem cheap. Plus, we really dont need Joker in a third movie. What needed to be done with him was done in TDK. Why put him in a third? It's unnecessary.

You can give it up now because they are not going to recast the Joker.

Damn, this is how great this movie really is.

I bet thats the next step in this series of shows he's putting on for us:hoboj:

I watched those impression and yea, without make-up on, it seems more a futile attempt at epic.
but I do and I dont like it, maybe its because theres a tragic end to such a wonderful human being that comes along with this movie, or maybe because Heath truly blew us away.
I applaud anyone trying tho because if I could do impressions of the joker like Heath I would... alas my voice can get the tone and the context of Heath but the fact that Im a girl doesnt give me an inch (sounds to girly to be the joker, though if they are casting for a harley quinn it may fly :D.) I say if you got it flaunt it
but please out of the respect of the heath and his family don't go around doing joker impressions to actually commit terrible crimes

I don't care for him. He's decent, but he seems to be just another wannabe that's lumped in with the rest of the crowd.

This guy shows how hard it was to do what LEdger did. This guy comes off as trying too hard, and the end result is CHEESEY. LEdger should win the Oscar for that portrayal. The whole thing was Ledger; the voice, the mannerisms, etc.
