Yes, he was trying too hard throughout the video, but it was one of the better ones that I've seen. I like the idea of using lines from the comics or something and making a personal Joker out of it. Or maybe Ledger-ize one of Nicholson's scenes. That would be more interesting than people attempting the same scene every time. The problem with most of these videos is they try too much to impersonate Heath's exact performance. That just makes it unnatural. They should be adding their own little details, and think of how a maniacal killer would act. Overall, it was a good performance. Worthy of some praise.

I think the guy did a bang-up job...and he's got more balls going on 'Tube and doing that, than most people criticizing him on this site have...he's just having fun and exercising his craft, and I don't understand all the members here giving him a hard time...if anyone can do better, then put up....or shut up. He's NOT Heath Ledger, for Christ's sake, nor does he claim to be. Calling him names and saying he's a "sad" character with too much time on his hands, seems to be a little hypocritical coming from a bunch of people on a freakin' make-believe superhero forum...c'mon people, lighten up, and live and let live...

I went to see it for the love of batman in general... I came back to see the joker.

supporting actor doesnt describe his role sadly. Though i am sure if bale ever got nominated and won, he'd dedicate it to Heath for sure.. but alas I dont think they would nominate bale...

This guy is really good! A few of his earlier videos were so so, but these are at least a 8/10 in my book!

His voice is very good! The acting.. not so much. He try too much.

unfortunately these are only impressions, how many of them are actually giving off and using the energy that Heath did when he was acting them... I am sure if each individual would find his rhythm to their comfort, they would not sound so, regurgitated?

I agree in that your voice was very close in certain parts, but I heart very little emotion or character behind your voice, to be honest. It sounded more like you were reading from a card than acting it out.
