Why would they be upset about viewers figuring out Season 1 when they were the ones who put the clues in there?

Season 2 wasn't confusing. The two weeks later timeline is only at the beginning and end of 2x01, the beginnings of 2x03 and 2x05, and few scenes in 2x07. 2x10 is the only time in goes back and forth because it's Bernard remembering. It's super obvious when its two weeks later because Bernard isn't wearing glasses because they were washed away right before the Delos team found him. Then there are just regular flashbacks in 2x02 and 2x04 which are obvious because it's Jimmi Simpson. People looked into it way too hard and confused themselves.

It would not surprise me if it was HBO's decision to drop the 'twists and convoluted plots' it seemed to turned off critics and now with GOT finished they now need another 'flagship' tv series especially heading into next years Emmys.

And I believe there’s a quite where Jonathan says the writers did change things because people on the internet figured them out. So it definitely bothers them. And that’s also a surefire way to reduce the quality of the writing.

That’s encouraging. I’m very much in the GRRM camp. You’ve plotted out something, stick to the plan even if people guess it.

That said, the mystery in S2 was forced, and I’m happy they’re letting that go.

Visually alone this season looks truly stunning. The amount of money HBO is able to spend on shows like Westworld, GOT, Watchmen and His Dark Materials is just ridiculous.

Yeah, it baffles my mind that I've heard some people say they're annoyed that the show is "getting away from its original premise." I'm like, did you just want this to be a Red Dead Redemption show or something? What premise were you even watching?

Anyone who thought the show was going to stay a western for long... really didn’t get what it was about.

And that trailer was amazing. Some of the cinematography is jaw dropping.

I was saying this show was better than Game Of Thrones two years ago. More people would probably agree with me now.
