There's nothing *more* contemporary about Spiderman's suit. Batman's suit in Begins was perfectly contemporary and I'm inclined to think that a relatively clunky, cumbersome suit as a "beta" suit is perfectly fine for begins. I do think the technology should be refined with the help of Fox's genious though I'd really prefer not to see something like Spiderman's.

Well if they're gonna go for that bulky look, I'd still prefer if they use lighter/thinner material so that damn thing doesn't bulge in the wrong places. The thing about rubber is it's so outdated, there are far better materials to work with that can achieve the same goal, but also makes it mobile and less prone to the "puffy" phenomenon.
