All I ask ifor is we a true representation of Bane as the criminal mastermind behind all the events that lead up to Batman being "broken" in Knightfall storyline and not the mindless musclehead we got in Schumacher's atrocity of a "Batman" movie.

I don't even think they have to go into the backstory of why Bane is so massive (similar to The Joker).

I think it would be kinda interesting to do the Batman Begins style jump back in time with Bane. Sorta the anti-batman.
Show how his childhood led him to become a villain as opposed to a hero.

I don't mind Venom and i don't think it's too unrealistic (actually starting to get tired of that word when talking about Batman-movies), but hopefully the film emphasizes Bane's intelligence and strategy. Without forgetting cool fight scenes of course.

Just a thought: Do you think Venom could even be some kind of MacGuffin in this film? Similar to fear gas in BB.

It would be cool if the Movie started with Bane. And after a few minutes in, after we get to watch him finishing off a contract, we see him accepting the next one. Batman.

What could Tom Hardy Play though? Talia and Catwoman are out of the picture, so what else could it be? Black mask? Hugo Stranges, I've not really hard of these villains except for the TAS animated cartoon show which was solid. Maybe it does have to do with that. My only concern is how they plan to tie the Joker to the whole thing. There will have to be some audio appearance or some connection to the last film given that he "won" against Bat Man in a way.

What about a young Bane? a smaller young pre buff Bane? he may play that, it's essentially a sister role to the Catwoman role.

Bane will a fantastic addition to the trilogy and I have every confidence in nolan, catwoman I am not too fussed about...all I ask is keep it gritty and don't go silly.

I'm so glad its Bane, watching Batman the Animated Series Bane is clearly an intelligent man and I think Tom Hardy can bring that too him n I know he can bulk up for the role. My only minor concern is his height but who knows what Nolan's gonna do with the character.
