The Dark Knight Rises Bane

I'd say get Nathan Jones to play Bane with the mask on, with Ralph Moeller doing the voice and using his face for close ups. Or, have Jones as Bane, and have his voice digitally altered, and DON'T show his face. That might be better, kind of like Darth Vader. I'd also say, don't get anyone under 6'10'' for the role.

They could put muscle prosthetics on the person playing him if needed. You see how bigger muscle prosthetics make Vinne Jones look in X3?

Nathan Jones would make a better Killer Croc.

I was thinking maybe Mickey Rourke for Croc. Do it like they did for Marv in Sin City.

Rourke is better suited for DKR Bats IMO.

But I want Harrison Ford for DKR Bats.

Clint Eastwood for DKR Batman :o

You're kidding right?!

1986 - yes, he was perfect.
2006 - no, too old!

Eastwood is perfect for DKR Gordon, though.

You know, I hate to throw this out but The Rock could actually play him pretty well.

Do you guys think dubbing the voice would prove difficult? Star Wars was easy. You never saw Vader's mouth. If Bane's mask is cloth like in the comics, you're gonna see his lips moving behind the mask like in spider-man.

I still think its the best way to go is to have someone else dub the vocals and just get someone as big as possible (over 6'7" or 6'8") to play his body.

And the Rock physically could pull off being hispanic. He (gasp!) isn't big enough though,(Liam Neeson is almost as tall) unless they made him bigger with special effects I'd steer away from the Rock. Also, I don't know if he can pull the voice off (never heard him try any type of accent change) And if they get a big name like The Rock, let's face it, they aren't going to use someone else's voice.

Michael Clark Duncan was made to look larger in Daredevil, it can be done. Again, people are getting to caught up on details - who cares what Banes voice sounds like IF he is done right? The Rock has the body (height can be fixed), and the acting ability to pull off Bane.

What about Dolph Lundgren aka Ivan Drago from Rocky IV for Bane?

Ok besides the fact he's Sweedish, all he needs is fake tan and the Bane coustume oh yeah and lose the hair.

I actually think The Rock would be an excellent Bane. I don't even require him to have a spanish accent. I'd be happy with this choice. ...but they should make him look as big as they can.

Bane has GOT to be at least Colombian. And yes, he has to have a spanish accent. If not, then he's just a huge, smart guy.

Like what I previously said: Dalip as Bane, and dub Benicio Del Toro's voice into it. PERFECT.

But it's just my opinion.

I do like this Dalip guy for the part of Bane, but I've never heard him speak.

Reports say he's been signed with the WWE, and will make his debut very soon.

They would most likely have to use a wrestler to play Bane because no Hollywood actor, with the except of Michael Clark Duncan, is physically big enough to play the role.

As for Andre. Andre was out of shape...hell, he was never in shape.

Andre had gigantism, that accounts as to why he was built the way he was. When you do 300 wrestling shows a year, I can almost guarantee that you will be in pretty good shape physically.

So having him have a spanish accent makes his a huge, smart guy with a spanish accent - still not exactly the most complex Bat character ever. The Rock is the best actor that has been mentioned in this thread. The fact that we are looking at current wrestlers with little to no acting talent worries me greatly.

The Big show could do Bane.

HECK no! I know we have been mentioning Pro-Wrestlers but Big Show is definetly NOT a good choice.

bwhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Some are okay actors. Batista might be able to do a decent job acting.

After last night's Raw though I wouldn't put Edge in that category...

Didn't Dalip Singh kill a guy? He's actually going to be in WWE now.
