YES. That was an awesome moment. I just did it yesterday with a friend.t:
you really don't want to know where my thought's went with that line.

YES. That was an awesome moment. I just did it yesterday with a friend.t:

I have no dog in this fight...it took place in a forum that I do not manage and rarely go into except to help danoyse when it gets hectic. But here is what I have seen.I don't like what I've heard because it's not the truth.
No mods will answer my questions regarding this situation or even attempt a dialogue with me to try to get it cleared up. I have no clue where this 2nd account allegation is coming from, because it wasn't me. Simply put. And it's frustrating that no mod or admin is even willing to discuss this with me and give me a chance to defend myself and clear up this obvious misunderstanding.
I didn't even "go too far" with the post that got me banned. I posted a picture of my X-Men comic, cartoon, and movie collection because Naji Assan or whatever his name was called my fandom into question along with another poster. I posted a picture defending myself, of my X-Men collection. That's what got me forum banned.
I wasn't the staff member that found it out and took action. If a 2nd account was made under my IP, why was this never addressed with me at the time?
I don't know, as I said, I was not the one that took action on this. Why was it not until I asked about my X-Men forum status?
The name was Xfanatic. I don't give out IP#s, I just say if they match or don't match. Why can't I even be given a name of the account in question, or location of the IP address?
If by "ignored"....you mean - answered by 3 Administrators, but not given the answer you wanted, so you PM one mod after another (who have read and have access to all info about your situation because it is posted for all mods to see) and they see no reason to get into it with you...then yeah, you are being ignored. Why are my PM's constantly ignored?

Everything I said to you in Pm and here on this thread is true.
(1) You were temporarily banned from the X forums.
(2) A new name posted in the X forums.
(3) It was reported that people thought it was you.
(4) There was a check of the IP numbers
(5) They were a match to yours
(6) You were then perma banned from the X forums.
You sent me a Pm asking me to look into it. I looked into it and gave you my answer to what I saw. Was it a conversation of dozens of PMs over weeks or months. No. Did I look into it and give you an answer. Yes.
You say here again that you have no clue where the 2nd account allegation came from. As I said earlier....a new name posted in the X forums. It was reported that people suspected it was you. We looked into that report. As a further note....Morg and I try to check every single new name that registers for connections to existing and previous posters (some names get past us because we can't be on 24/7). So there is a chance the name would have been checked even without the report. But the fact is, it was reported, we checked it.
You have multiple infractions in the X forums, in this thread you say that you are not liked in the X forums, so it seems likely that a infraction or banning from the forum was justified.
I wasn't the staff member that found it out and took action.

Nell, give a another month or two then ask if they'll rescind the ban. Don't keep this up or you might get cut more.
Okay.
And as I've tried to explain to you, whoever it was that signed up that new name that matched my IP was not me.
I never heard back from you when I asked you if we could discuss this so I could try to clear my name.
I don't have any clue where the 2nd account allegations came from, because I had nothing to do with a 2nd account being registered.
I have multiple infractions on the X-Men forums because danoyse held a difference set of standards for me than she held for everyone else, and it got to a point where she was infracting me for any and every post I made.
danoyse doesn't like me from the X-Men forums, and Hunter Rider doesn't like me from the Wrestling Thread. If I want to go conspiracy theory, I could go as far as to say that this 2nd screen name bit is being made up simply to keep me away from the X-Men threads, but isn't actually true.
I don't honestly believe that, but it wouldn't surprise me either.
I have no idea what Xfanatic is.
List of names I'd use if I were to create a new forum account (anywhere) - Franchise408, amm7s, am529, amm529
List of active e-mail accounts I would use to create a new account - [email protected] (the account registered to THIS account, if I'm not mistaken), [email protected] - The only 2 e-mail accounts I have.
I am giving out personal information in good faith to show my sincerity that I would not, and have not, created any sort of 2nd account on the Hype.
I don't know when "Xfanatic" was created. I moved from Tennessee back in September. Perhaps someone now lives in my old apartment, and has accessed the Hype from their internet connection.
I live with 4 roommates, perhaps one of them tried to access the Hype.
I access the Hype from my laptop, or my cell phone, from home, from work, from friend's houses, from my parents' house, from the mall, from a restaurant when I'm out to eat, from a stop light when I'm driving, from all over, through my phone reception as well as various wi-fi connections. Perhaps someone created an account from one of those IP addresses, and thus, the "match".
As I told you in PM, and clearly stated in this thread, the only thing that I have done in the X-Men forums since my banning is read them when my screen name is logged out. I have never, in the history of my time here on the Hype, created a 2nd name.
I have been answered by one admin, you.
I first tried to discuss the matter with the admin who brought the accusation to my attention. This admin did so rather hostily, and did not answer me when I tried to discuss the matter with them. I then went to you, and got no response. About 2 or 3 weeks later, I tried contacting the original admin again, to no response, and roughly a week later, I contacted you again. You did respond this time, and when I asked if I could discuss the matter with you, I got no response.
You make it seem as though I have been blowing up every mod's PM box on a daily basis, when I think I have attempted to contact you 3 times over the last month, and the other admin I've had one single discussion with a month or 2 ago that they refused to respond to.
I don't know who the 3rd admin is, unless you mean danoyse, who I haven't spoken to since the last time she infracted me in the X-Men forums, which was back in January. I have not contacted or spoken to danoyse in any way since then, nor have I spoken to her about the 2nd account allegation.
You can be banned from certain sections of the Hype?

Yes.
You're right Nell, I don't like you very much, but the IP showing both SN's can be seen by every Mod that clicks on your name. So no, there is no conspiracy, just thought I'd put that out there as I can see you dislike false accusations.
You can be banned from certain sections of the Hype?
Yes.
That's actually news to me.

I wonder how much rule breaking goes on in there? I demand an investigation.

Man I had no idea there was so much drama on the Hype. Glad I have managed to stay relatively off the radar
