I thought there was a poster who did that, but I am not totally sure. This person, I believe, posted a pic of a girl when HE was in fact a man. The girl whose pic was posted was cute and above reproach; however, the jig for the real poster was up when the "girl" in question verified her identity. Then someone who knew the real poster posted a pic of him and c'est la vie. He was banned. Of course, all this is second hand, so take that for what's it worth.....
Here's a question for the Hype historians: quite often, when someone unfairly criticises a celebrity's appearance, they are invited to post a picture of themselves/their girlfriend in order to establish their credentials as a body-fascist. Has anyone ever risen to the challenge, and has it ever ended well?
Nope.
There was a poster who was eventually banned for that in Batboards after Ann Hathaway was cast as Catwoman. Some guy was complaining that she wasn't hot enough for the role and posted a picture of his "girlfriend". However, after looking more into his photobucket account, that was the only picture of his "girlfriend" and the other pictures were of a fat guy playing video games.
Would that be the Aunt Petunia scandal?
Ah yes, Micah12345. If I remember correctly he created a new hype account just so people wouldn't bring that up to his face.

From the Hype Encyclopedia.
The Aunt Petunia Scandal: A supposed attractive female poster (who was known to post pictures of 'herself' was later revealed to be a male. The pictures were actually of another young woman on a different site.It was exposed when the actual girl he was posting pic's of showed up here through a friend of hers and called him on it, embarrassing the hell out of him and forcing to admit what he'd done. Aunt Petunia later became Franklin Richards and still posts, occasionally making jokes about the incident and the illicit private messages he received from various posters complimenting his believed appearance.(http://www.superherohype.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155260&highlight=Aunt+Petunia)(ht tp://www.superherohype.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155356&highlight=Aunt+Petunia)
