The Dark Knight Rises Batman Begins III: What do you want?

BB 3...Necessary?

  • Absolutely (Bring it on, it will be even better)

  • Perhaps (It will work just as well, if not around the same)

  • Perhaps (It can't possibly do as well)

  • Leave it at two (Quit while we're ahead)

-Villains: The Riddler, Scarecrow and possibly Hush
-Scarecrow should be a bigger threat and menace than in Batman Begins
-there should be a really dark scene where Batman vengefully visits his parents grave
-They should use the same blue color tone otherwise red or grey
-Hush should be changed into a physically challenging Mobster
-Hush should be called Hush because he is extremely dangerous
-Keep the same backstory for Hush like in the comic books
-The Joker laughing in his dark shadowy Arkham cell
-Jason Bard and Sara Essen should join the GCPD
-Batman should use the Matches Malone disguise
-Scarecrow should be in full costume

No it's not. In Begins, the toxin is limited to the Narrows, and as a part of Ra's al Guhl's plan because he wants to see the city destroy itself. What I was referring to would be the WHOLE city under the influence of the toxin, with another motivation behind it all: Scarecrow's.

I do agree that it happened in Begins, although on a much smaller scale.
Ah but see even you admit something similar happens in Begins. I don't know IMHO I just think Scarecrow's story is finished and, you have to see where I'm coming from when I say that poisoning the entire city is just too similar to what we've seen already. I just think Nolan and company will pull a rabbit out of their hat and we will see something different......"but I've been wrong before." :)

I do agree that it happened in Begins, although on a much smaller scale. But if it's a trilogy, and if Scarecrow is ultimately THE villain of this trilogy (This trilogy being as much about Bruce becoming Batman and facing the challenges that come with it that it is about Scarecrow rising through the criminal element to become the deranged maniac he is in the comics), I think it would be a good thing to have "echoes" to show how 1) the cycle is never-ending, Batman will always have to face those villains coming back and 2) Things always get worse. It basically would be the association of the themes from BB and TDK reunited into the third and final act to be used as a "it can never end" conclusion. And of course, as I already said, the film itself should also offer its own theme.

I don't like the idea of Scarecrow returning to become the main villain, someone new is needed to challenge Batman. Scarecrow obviously wasn't even a real threat in either films, so I doubt he could come up with such a plan. Also you have to take into account that that the plot line your suggesting is to similar to Batman Begins, and how would Scarecrow get the toxin into the air supply, not with another Microwave emulator. Plus Ras Al Ghul said it in BB "He believes were holding the city to ransom" Scarecrow doesn't want chaos he wants a profit and to have some power.

All I ask is for:
Catwoman
A decent Bat vehicle
And for the love of God a nice Bat-suit

I do.

Yep no worries, I do see where you're coming from, and honestly, if Scarecrow doesn't come back, it's no problem at all, as his story arc could end right there in TDK. And I'm by no way trying to say that it SHOULD happen or anything, it's just what I'd like because I'm a Scarecrow fan and I did feel a bit let down by the lack of importance he had in the first two movies.

Which of course won't say I couldn't enjoy a film without him, I'm already glad they at last included him in a Batmovie.

I think they can do one more with a story as engaging as DK. I doubt it'll be as successful financially but you never know.

"Riddle me this, riddle me that, what year will the Bat be back?"

Riddle me this, riddle me that. the dawn is coming, but is darker than the bat

Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That, who's up next to take on the Bat?

imo they dont need to do a third. It's inevitable, though, and I'd rather have Nolan's vision and trilogy completed before letting someone else take the reigns.

bring in robin and recast joker so i can get this.
