Batman|Bruce Wayne/Affleck is in Suicide Squad!

I'm glad he was in the latest trailer. My mate had a go at me for spoiling Suicide Squad when I said Batman was in it and I said "he's in the trailer!" and he said "not in the one I saw!"

So there we are, I can show him this and say "see?"

Hasn't he been in every trailer though? lol

He's been in every trailer, a quick glimpse but he's been there.

First riding on top of Joker's car, and this time diving into the water and carrying Harley back to the Batmobile.

Only just occurred to me that we might get the Arkham Knight thing of Batman being ejected from the car and gliding onto Joker's. That'd be dang cool.

Can this Batman naturally glide like that? The games seemed to be mimicking Nolan specifically, who had the "memory cloth" gag. I do not think this Batman has a cape that can do that.

An Arkham game style glide would definitely be awesome!

Yeah, true. I was just thinking/hoping it was a staple for the character now.

I don't remember seeing him in the second trailer (official trailer 1) at all.

He glides in all the cartoons now including Brave and the Bold. I think its new standard.

I always assumed that in most cartoon/comic/film versions the cape allowed him to glide. The technology might not be the exact same as explained in Begins, but i don't see how he would be able to do most things he does if his cape didn't allow him to glide. Look at that scene in Batman Forever where he saves Dick Grayson from the gang, for example. If his cape didn't have that ability he would have killed himself.

So I just got the tech manual, and there are indeed scallops on the cape, though they are not as pronounced as previous batsuits. The scallops on this cape resembles the "scallops" on the new bat symbol. If I have time, I'll take a photo for you guys.

I knew it. Rocksteady accurately rendered them for the bvs skin.

I can't wait to see Batman in Suicide Squad...even if it's a brief cameo.

I'm going to rock my Batman Dawn of Justice suit to the midnight Suicide Squad premier at my theater. My friend is going to go as Katana. Super nerdy but...I'm absolutely elated with how well my Dawn of Justice suit turned out. I want to make sure it gets the mileage. haha

Haha that's awesome. Thanks for that. It definitely made my day. There are still a few tweaks I need to do with the suit. (Get the right texturing/fabric) Overall though, with the short amount of time I had to procure it, I'm elated with how it turned out. Thanks again for the kind words.

OutofBoose - Glad to hear you approve the suit! Thank you.

This quote from David Ayer pleases me to no end. That is all.

All the Batman movies have been from Batman’s point of view. He’s the good guy. He’s the hero of his own movie in all the movies we’ve seen. If you look at what Bruce Wayne has done in creating the Batman persona, his idea was to terrorize criminals. It’s sort of psychological warfare against criminals. This wraith that comes in the night and attacks and pulls criminals from society. For the first time, we’re seeing Batman from the point of view of the criminals and he’s freaking scary.

We're going to feel each and every femur that snaps into several pieces and then some.

I'm so happy that Batman seems to have a very extensive role in this. Fabulous.

I forgot where I saw, but it has been reported Batman will be in Suicide Squad for about 10 minutes. Potentially 10 times longer than what Thanos had in Guardians of the Galaxy.

More like 5 to 7 mins.

I just hope they don't cut any Batman content they have up their sleeve. Same for Bruce.
