I never got the Wes Bently fascination for Batman.
My picks:
Jake Gyllenhaal (5'11", 36 years old)
Lee Pace (6'5", 38 years old)
Back-Ups:
Oscar Isaac (5'9", 38 years old)
Wes Bentley (5'11", 39 years old)
I'll tell you what, Lee Pace is looking better and better by the day.
- Very tall
- Slender, athletic frame
- Dark hair
- Blue eyes
- Deep, commanding voice
- Talented actor, but not a big name
Well, I'm only down with him now because he's going to be coming off an Oscar Nom most likely, he could fit as a younger Affleck Batman, and he has history with Cavill on screen so if they want to do Justice League again..
I want Jake for a stand alone Batman trilogy. However, I don't see him working in a Justice League where we're supposed to act like he's playing Batfleck and has all this stupid history with Diana and Clark. I don't want that.
I really, REALLY don't get what people see in Hammer for this. I feel like the only reason why people keep mentioning him is because of the whole Justice League Mortal thing. But the majority of the other casting decisions on that movie were flat out awful so I don't see why Hammer keeps getting propped up.

Call Me By Your Name. We'll see if he makes the list but there is buzz.Oh, I hadn't heard that. What film are you referring to?

I don't understand the idea of Oscar Isaac, fine actor, but nothing about him says "Batman" to me. Lee pace however, is an interesting idea. The more I think about it, the more I like it.
Sorry but Bruce can't be a latino or black man. He is a white, old money dude who uses that to do what most white privileged people would never do in a million years. His name is BRUCE WAYNE for crying out loud. You just think of that name and "white privilege" should come to mind lol.I don't understand the idea of Oscar Isaac, fine actor, but nothing about him says "Batman" to me.
