Batman/Bruce Wayne Casting Thread - Part 3

Dan Stevens would be a great option. As for when The Batman comes out, I think 2020 at the absolute earliest. Might be 2021, depending on how long Warner Bros take to decide on what to do with casting.

Dan Stevens is a pick that is out there as far as strange picks but Dan Stevens as Bruce Wayne/Batman can actually be a choice that can actually work long term anyway especially if Affleck really is leaving. However, if Affleck is staying then personally I wouldn't have a problem if Ben does stay on as Batman. Ben is probably the actor who is most believable as Bruce/Batman and not to mention if he were really leaving it would be front page news by now already.

Ehhhhh, that's debatable. There's really no reason for Warner Bros to stir up drama any more than there already is by going out of their way to confirm or deny Affleck's presence (despite the obvious internal fandom debates that come with it).

Right now, Warner Bros are in a position where they can afford to keep holding off on announcing it publicly since the film isn't entering production any time soon.

Yeah, he's not even close to being my first pick for the role- I'm more interested in seeing him as Bond after Craig finishes his tenure with Bond 25. But Stevens could probably pull it off if he got the part and I'd probably like his take on it.
