Yeah dodged a bullet there. Tho kinda feel bad as his Deathstroke was once upon a time the big bad of The Batman and now he's left behind lol

I can´t have a batman of my age or younger than me. That'd mean I didn't became batman and that's unacceptable.
Can't see how anyone could argue with this logic! Sorry RPattz, you had potential.

On retrospective I find it odd he hasn't appeared on a list yet.

I have a feeling Hammer, and maybe even Pattinson, might be too old for what Reeves is aiming for. We wouldn't have heard, numerous times, that he's casting young if he was looking at 30+ year olds. I'm guessing he's looking at an age where there's a certain level of naivety. It sort of emphasises the insanity (and badassery) a bit more when it's a guy who doesn't look like a mature man who can take care of himself on the streets, but then totally does, due to his training and gadgets.

Anyways, Bruce became Bats at 24, right?

What about Ansel Elgort (24)?

And regarding how the ages line up with JL, perhaps it just won't.

If The Batman is a hit, WB might just let Reeves finish a trilogy before they bother going back to the JL, considering the latter didn't make them any money.

i dont think bill skarsgard should play batman i think instead he should be played the jokester because in the movie it he played an evil clown who go by the name pennyworth the clown and since the jokester is an evil clown and bill skarsgard has experince playing an evil clown (pennywish) he could play the jokester who is an evil clown just like pennywidth

Great example of how bang on and accurate a lot of the Hollywood reporting tends to be... Affleck not mentioned once.
Brolin really did get into talks with Zack about it, though. He's mentioned that before. They probably moved onto Affleck after this group.

Fair enough! But I think this kind of thing just goes to prove that a majority of reports - especially in the early days - are usually a load of horse puckey. A large part of me expects the new Batman to be someone none of us have mentioned.

I feel like that'd be impossible because we've pretty much mentioned every actor on the face of the planet.

I mean, while I'm sure they get things wrong every once and a while, Borys Kit and THR (as well as Variety) are about as reliable as they get. I'm sure that list of names was likely pretty accurate at the time. Especially with Brolin himself eventually confirming he was on it. It's these random yahoos on Twitter pretending they're "in the know" (aka, most of the guys we're listening to now, lol) you've gotta look out for.
