So far after seeing this list of solid choices of actors who could replace Ben Affleck as Batman I have to agree with this article and the choices are as follows:

1- Andrew Lincoln (Walking Dead fame)
2- Kyle Chandler
3- I can't even believe Jake Gyllenhaal is still on this list even though he is in the MCU especially playing Mysterio but I digress
4- Idris Elba believe it or not
5- Richard Armitage
6- Luke Evans
7- Keanu Reeves believe it or not
8- Jon Hamm
9- Jeffrey Dean Morgan even though he played Bruce's father in a flashback sequence it would just be too weird
10- Ryan Gosling

10-15 years ago I thought Kyle Chandler would've been great. He has a certain dapper WASP vibe that spoke to me as an old school Bruce Wayne/Batman. He's getting up in the older range and seems comfortable being paunchy now (could change his body, sure).

This coming from the same guy who cited age concerns as one of the main reasons behind Gyllenhaal's departure. I don't know what to believe anymore.

I didn't know about that. Tbh, as for a few days ago, I still believed Affleck would be back.

I'm not suprised they might want to cast a younger actor, it's just that Montgomery doesn't strike me as Bruce at all.
I haven't found one actor to replace Affleck yet, so I'm hoping for an unknown actor.

Montgomery has a lot of intensity that would be great for Bruce Wayne, but I think he's a little too young. He'd make an awesome Dick Grayson though. I think he was rumored for that role, but then it turned out to be a mistake or something? I forget. Anyway, I feel like finding an actor in the 28-34 range is kind of the sweet spot unless they are going for Batman Begins 2.0, in which case maybe Montgomery could work.

I suggested him a loooong time ago before 50 Shades of Grey, but then I discovered he can't work an American accent to save his life. It's turrrrible.
