Gonna throw this brilliant chap back in there...

Great actor. Can do dark and disturbed standing on his head.

Bulk him up and he’d sell it hard.
I've warmed up to him. At least I think he's better for this than other gigs I've seen him suggested for. The cowl can compensate for his weak jaw, lol.

Oh HELL YES on Dan Stevens.

He’s by far and away my favourite choice, I think. He’s great in Legion, and excellent in Apostle. A damn fine actor, with the right looks, and the ability to portray that ‘unhinged’ quality that Keaton and Bale had in spades. All he needs to do is put on about twenty pounds of muscle, and you have your Batman.

Dan Stevens seems a decent option. Robb Stark might be good though he's a tad on the short side. 5'9.

I would be up for Stevens playing just about any character in the Batman universe, even a motion capture part. Batman, Gordon, Joker, Two Face, even Penguin.

He checks off all the boxes. If I had to put money on it, he'd be my horse in this race.
Well not that I want you to lose money, but I'm certainly rooting for your failure on that one. And I can guarantee that my first words on this board whenever anyone else is eventually cast in the role will simply be, "Thank God it's not Armie Hammer."

Armie Hammer should be cast as Affleck's replacement, since he and Affleck are similar in height. Affleck is 6'4" tall and Hammer is 6'5" tall. All Hammer has to do is bulk up.

I mean you can pretty much put Dan Stevens in every superhero role and he would still nail it.

Dude is that talented.

So I know casting Tom Hardy would be awkward now, but...that doesn't rule out his budget twin!

He's been pretty good in stuff lately.

Always liked this guy too:

But he's 40 now so probably too old.

"No details have been revealed, including how old Bruce Wayne will be in the movie. Some believe Reeves wants someone younger, in their mid-20s, while others believe the studio wants someone a little older to play the part. Most insiders stress, however, that until the director begins meetings, no final decision will be made on that front."

Interesting.. I'd go for Finn Whitrock if I'm being honest.

Dan Stevens also seems like a really good choice. Sam Clafin and Jamie Dornan as well

I would be lying if I said batman was the number 1 character I wanted to see. I reckon there’s other, more interesting characters they could cover.

But if they wanted to regain my interest I reckon Daniel wu would be a really interesting choice
