When scouring the 'net for younger options, my most common thought with each one I find is, "Nightwing." Why is it that young male actors these days don't start looking like men until their 30's?

Probably studio inertness. Decades of older actors. I mean, Bale in Begins was the youngest of them all. How old was he? Slightly over 30?

At the same time, I'm not sure why Reeves would want a mid 20s Bruce Wayne for his film.

Yeah, I remember reading about his 30th birthday after he'd been cast. He was 31 when BB came out. Hard to believe as he always seemed older, even then. I don't know of any young actors like that any more. They all seem so boyish.
