After seeing that about Ant-Man and Aquaman, I'd like to officially declare that Alexandra Daddario will not be arriving at my door to hook up with me later today.

I don't know what it is about Teller but something about him just rubs me the wrong way. He was great in Whiplash but he's one of those actors that doesn't motivate me to see a movie at all.

Teller is amazing in Whiplash. That movie is perfect.

I would be so down. He’d kill it. But I also feel like maybe he should be saved for a big cosmic villain like Despero or Brainiac

QFT.

And speaking of: I HATE that Snyder cast Simmons in JL. He’d have been awesome for this reboot.

Such a waste... I kind of hope Matt Reeves just keeps JK as Gordon. They made him look way older than he is in the JL movie. I also doubt many in the general audience would even remember he was in JL.

Yeah, they could keep him around if they want to. JK is amazing. I'd be all for that.

Simmons didn't do anything worth holding onto the Snyderverse baggage. There's dozens of actors who can fill that part suitably.

Oh, I agree he didn't do anything amazing but he could have if he was working with a good director.

Agreed. Based on that now infamous Esquire interview, I'd say he was so perfect for his role in Whiplash because he seems to be that much of an insufferable ******nozzle in real life. So it was an ideal fit of an actor and a role. Certainly doesn't mean I want to see him in other roles, though.

Ohhhhh I haven't read this interview. What did he say?

I wouldn’t mind if he did, but I have a feeling Reeves will want to cast all of his own actors.

Well, I can't link to it due to language, but it is definitely worth reading for yourself as I'm not sure any description I could give would do it justice, so I'd highly recommend Googling the whole Esquire piece. The title is "Miles Teller is Young, Talented, and Doesn't Give a Rat's Ass What You Think".

But Bruce is meant to be a mean gentleman and arrogant and stern in front of others while being more concerned, self-reflecting, pensive and humble while alone. This man can totally capture that and so much more. He has the hair, facial structure, physique, acting talent far far superior to others suggestions so far (can act circles around Hammer). He can be that dick and also be caring. He was solid as Mr Fantastical and can carry over thosr qualities to Bruce. He even has that Thomas Wayne-style mustache and can totally look the part with gelled back hair

He may not be the nicest person in real life there is no other who fits the bill for an unconventional young actor pick that Reeves is looking for. I honestly think He will be rumored big time for the role

I'll check it out, thanks!

EDIT:

Just looked it up. Jesus, this paragraph.

He is wearing a pool-blue V-neck that shows off the Roman-numeral tattoo on his arm, a reference to the thirty-two-ounce beers his high school friends were forced to buy because forties were not available in Florida. He explains that everyone in the "32 Crew" got this tattoo after a night at the High Octane Saloon from a man they bribed out of bed at 2:00 a.m. to needle crooked X's and I's onto their biceps.
