i'm not a big fan of Armie, but that we like it or not , Mario is indeed a good scooper. That still doesnt mean Armie will have the role, even the trade got it wrong sometimes, but there is a chance

Reeves basically confirmed what THR had said about production starting near the end of the year. THR is also the one who said Reeves hasn't started meeting with actors yet but that he was looking for someone in their late 20's.

It still baffles me how Snyder fanboys look at how Ben looks nowadays and still insist he looks good for Bruce Wayne.
He really, really doesn't.
On BvS he was perfect in terms of looks but in JL even before the reshoots he looked off.
He doesn't even have the looks for Batman right now... or the voice, you hear him in interviews and stumbles, twitches, etc. I mean, I hope he's okay, I have no ill will towards him but the best thing about his Bruce in BvS was his looks and he doesn't even have that anymore. Its clear it was best for everyone to recast him.
Thats also the reason as to why Im skeptical on Reynor. He, just like Ben, seems like the sort od guy that has trouble maintaining a certain very handsome look, only it's worse for Reynor because he already has that problem young.

Dude declared that Man of Steel 2 was getting greenlit and Cavill would re-up for Man of Steel 2 and appear for a cameo in Shazam.

Also the Nightwing movie, which is nowhere in sight.

The Nightwing movie WAS a thing for a while with a director that was constantly posting updates but then the project ended up on a limbo because of Matt Reeves and stayed there. Idk about the Man of Steel thing but I've been followigng him for like 8 months and he's on the same page as everyone in respect to Cavill.
He was the first to report that Cavill was in negotiations for a cameo in SHAZAM and that fell apart... which was later confirmed to be true.

No offense but that’s kind of a bullheaded way of looking at it...

People report things as they are at the time, it’s not his fault Man of Steel 2 negotiations fell through. He was the first to report that Superman would have a cameo in shazam and at the time they wanted to go ahead with MoS2, Henry’s manager started hardball negotiations, and everything fell through. This was all confirmed by THR that Henry was supposed to cameo in Shazam but contract negotiations became an issue, so Mario was right but things between the studio and Henry made the plan change.

He’s gotten scoop after scoop right (especially casting) over the last few weeks, so he’s definitely reliable enough that you should pay attention to what he says, but with ANY scooper you always should take it with a grain of salt.

Yeah, it's not even official yet that Ezra's out as Flash. My guess is we get our new Batman somewhere between April and May, while Daley & Goldstein work on recasting for Flash over the summer.

That sounds like a decent timeline to me. I get the impression that the Batman announcement is going to come somewhat out of the blue, and might be sooner than some think. Certainly not before Endgame, for obvious reasons, but not long after that. Exciting

Ben has never had the Batman look, in my opinion. He always seemed too bloated in a lot of scenes and that's just one of many reasons his version was not good at all. Yes he had the chin, but that does NOT make the character. Snyder fanboys only love him because of the grey outfit and chin and it just shows how little they know about the character

Do you have a source for that? Up to now, I've only ever heard us fans suggest OJC for the part.

Honestly it's between O'Connell, OJC (and Christopher Abbott as my 'Never Gonna Happen, but Oh God Do I Wish It Would' option) for personal preferences.
