Whose to say He isn't pulling off another "Jason Momoa" in keeping a secret for now and already cast as The BATMAN!

I do think it's weird that he has to address it on a national television talk show. CBM fans may heard about the rumor but I doubt that many GA know in a way that he needs to clarify on such wide platform.
He already denied that rumor many times before on interviews. Fallon wouldn't ask if Hammer didn't approved it beforehand.
Maybe the amount of questions and how frequent they are really bothering him.

BUT personally I don't think this is a major sign or something. Still an unverified rumor at this point.

I just read some comments and people actually didn't aware of the rumor and they like the idea of him for the role now. Streisand effect, Armie, you're doing more 'damage' now.

It would be so funny if WB and Reeves actually WERE considering him but Mario's scoop and all the attention afterward lost him the role. I doubt they would care that much but... it would be kind of hilarious.

Actually, I could see that scenario happened to leaked casting news if GA reacted to them in overwhelmingly negative way to the point where the pressure is enough to sway the studio and director.

Miles Tellaar will be available by that time after Top Gun 2 which is a massive project that he has an extremely critical role in.



Tall, handsome and brilliant acting talent and a great dancer. See how slick and mean he is but gentle in the dancing clip as well. These are all traits of Bruce Wayne whch he perfectly shows off in spades in the clip. Wayne is a complicated character who needs this type of actor who can naturally embody him on screen.

Dude, if you're going to keep championing Teller, you REALLY should learn to spell his name.

Yeah, I could too. I mean, it would take a SEVERE backlash but it could happen. Fortunately for Hammer, I don't think there's overwhelming hate for him out there but I could see that sort of thing happening to other actors, lol.

For what it's worth, I think if Hammer was deep in negotiations or if he had already signed on, WB would have asked Fallon not to broach the subject at all. It's one thing if Hammer is put on the spot by a random reporter in a spur-of-the-moment interview, but the studio has some control over what types of questions he's asked in a scheduled sit-down.

It's still bizarre though because I cant remember another time in which an actor came on national television talk show to say he not only wants a big superhero role that's currently in casting but the person interviewing him says to him "Oh the other guy stepped down and now you're at the top of everyone's list" followed by a thunderous clap from the audience

For what it's worth : i think that Reeves for his Taxi Driver/Hitchockian detective take would rather cast an animalistic actor à la Jack O'Donnell.

IF Warner wanted him, Reeves would have met him yeah, like you said. I see no reason for Warner to not want him..

There's too much smoke surrounding the Hammer situation that I think something happened, whether it's him being cast in secret or the studio wanting him.

The thing is, it is clear that Hammer has a following that want him in the role and a big one. Warner COULD want him. Reeves maybe ( after all Hammer had some acclaim now, and he is considered a good actor) so yes something has surely happened, but will he be cast? i'm not really sure

Plus Hammer is one of the few actors Reeves follows on Twitter so he's obviously curioust about him to some degree.
