There is that too yes

Things add up

Do you know since when he has begun following him?

Why is Armie a better choice than Pattinson?
He wouldn't be as hated by the general audience, he'd be more than capable to deal with the fans, would be able to commit and there's no doubt Hammer could handle the intense physical training. Acting and looks wise I'd say I like them both the same for the role but...

What he said.

After the Snyder controversy,( and i liked him and Affleck take, and they have a following) they would rather play it safe.

The thing is, IF Hammer is cast, i would not be excited, but i would give it a chance. i dont think he is a horrible actor, and Reeves could maybe do something interesting with him... or not ahah ....would you give him a chance? Or will we argue about him endlessly during all production? ahahah ;)

That Fallon segment essentially like a person in a school being hit by a small rumor then multiple people in his class keep asking his confirmation with whisper. Then he's so fed up, go to school broadcasting room and announces his rumor and the answer with speakers. Now the whole school know. :hehe:

Still don't buy it (I dunno why tho) that Hammer is already cast.

But I must admit that if I really thinking about it, he has way too many advantages.

- Look wise, it's obvious that he is CBM material.
- He's a familiar face but not overexposured.
- Has experiences, including indie and action movies.
- Pretty acclaimed and had been working with popular directors.
- Was Batman, WB love to come back to past considered actors like with Henry and Amy.
- Matt Reeves, Geoff Johns followed him.
- He knows and is a friend with some DC actors.
- Peter Safran likes him and championed him to his project before.
- The Rock and his producer friend also like him.
- Rumor that WB want a specific actor and some scoopers said that apparently was him.
- His casting rumor actually not received negatively by many.
- Actually interested in the role and seems committed, somehow without sounding desperate.

etc.

He's almost like an OP game character. :funny:
I don't know if it will be him, but I do think he was considered even if things fall apart.
That being said, nah, don't think the role already his. But what do I know.

Robert Downey Jr was hated by the general audience until he made a comeback with 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' and then finally cemented this status with Iron Man. After the initial die down of knee-jerk reactions from people who only know Pattinson from Twilight, his casting would be accepted. Because the majority of fans will either A) Get over it or B) Actually watch some of Pattinson's movies and see that he is a phenomenally talented young actor who has grown out of that shadow of Edward Cullen.

I highly doubt this. Matt Reeves is not playing it safe. All of the candidates on that table besides Hammer have been criticized for having a boy-ish, youthful look to them that is unprecedented in Bruce Wayne on film. Reeves wants a younger man to play his Bruce Wayne, the trades have confirmed it. That's not playing it safe.

Hammer is the only 'safe' choice from the list of candidates we have. If anything, he's the odd man out.

Definitely the most boring choice by a mile

I don't think RDJ was as famous before Iron Man as Robert Pattinson is right now.

You only say that because you’re young. He was huge in the late 80s/90s.

RDJ was popular and acclaimed, also got Oscar nomination and hits in 80s/90s.
Even got popular TV gig that kept him famous during early 2000s too.

You misunderstood Marvel united: we were talking about Warner first and foremost. I'm not sure that Reeves want him. (even, if things add up )

I actually suspect that Hammer may indeed have the part and at this point its about ironing out a deal . If anything, I think the strong and positive fan response to the MFR report may have strengthen his hand , assuming that there are talks going on.

Yes, he denied it , but what sort of makes me think he's hiding something was when he talked about the state of Reeves script as a reason for the story being false.

I mean , yeah, its been reported by the trades that Reeves was still working on the script , but the fact that Hammer alluded to that specific fact tells me that he's at the very least, actively following what's going on in the development of the film .

I dunno , for all we know they may announce someone who hasn't even been on the radar , but I suspect there's more truth to the MFR story then we know.

Before his official announcement

He said it was just rumors and played coy. He didn't go so far as to say that WB never approached him like Hammer did.

I'm sure if WB wanted Reeves to at least meet with Hammer, he'd be happy to acquiesce.
