Batman/Bruce Wayne Casting Thread - Part 6

My top 5 actors

5- Robert Pattinson
4- Armie Hammer
3- Oliver Jackson Cohen
2- Miles Teller
1- Ethan Peck

My honorable mentions would of course be Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Jack O'Connell, Jack Reynor and Dylan O'Brien

However, for me it is between Ethan Peck and Miles Teller for me anyway. Pattinson for me made this list but he was at #5 if anything. I just can't see Pattinson as Bruce Wayne or even see him as Batman because to me he has more of a villainous look to him than a hero look. Pattinson would make a great Joker or even casting him as Two Face or Scarecrow. Armie Hammer of course for me would be at #4 because as much as I love Hammer and I do I don't think DC/WB will cast him especially if it comes down to scheduling conflicts which I am sure there will be. Plus if Marvel reaches out to Armie before DC does, then well there you go. Oliver Jackson Cohen for me is an unknown in the sense that he isn't as well known to people especially in Hollywood which works well in his favor and with this role if he were cast as Bruce Wayne it would no doubt be a breakout role for him.

However for me, Miles Teller would be at #2 because like people say he is not only free in terms of scheduling but at the same time he does have CBM experience all be it failed experience with Marvel's Fantastic Four but that is no doubt through no fault of his own especially considering the script was not only bad but the movie overall just wasn't that great to begin with. Plus Teller is becoming more well known out there in Hollywood case in point his projects that he has coming ie. Top Gun Maverick and he does have the Bruce Wayne look to him that he could definitely pass off for being billionaire playboy/tortured soul. Not to mention Teller can definitely act.

For me Ethan Peck is the favorite because not only can he act but looks wise he definitely could pull off being Bruce and he has the squared jaw thing down as well. Not to mention he is underrated as an actor. Yeah sure he may not be as well known but that is of course what you want especially if you're DC. It has worked wonders for Marvel in terms of casting actors who are not as well known and they break out in roles given to them.
Peck looks the most like a villain.

Miles Teller is the furthest actor from having a Bruce Wayne look.

Logan Lerman, Adam Driver, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort are the actors that even if they give an Oscar worthy performance I still don't want as Bruce Wayne based on looks alone.

I am so stoked that more and more are in support of Tellaarr and think he would be worthy. He is Stellar after all. It’s great to mix it up and introduce fresh choices

I will admit after seeing Bodyguard, Richard Madden would make an excellent Wayne/Batman although he would be a distant second choice compared to Tellaar

When?! When will this madness end?
Maybe we should teach those folks at WB a lesson. Boycott any further discussion until we get official word on who our new Batman is. No more posts, no more fancast lists, no more Armie Hammer mentions. NOTHING! We just abandon this thread entirely. WHO'S WITH ME?!?

........ you guys buying this?...... no? Alright...

You guys won't like this, because of his height. He's an inch shorter than Keaton. But I say Zac Efron woukd kill it. He has a good look. Great actor. He's already in great shape. We can get get around the height. Lifts, camera angles. Or even a little CGI magic. I mean, we have a hulk.

He would be my pick for Dick Grayson!

No.

He still looks extremely off for me. And I get Bruce was based on his grandfather.... but Ethan Peck looks nothing like Gregory Peck

*Shrug*

I quite like his look for Bruce Wayne. I'll take a guy with a more interesting face over Generic Squarehead #42.

I'm not against generic squareheads mostly because... that fits nicely with playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne lmao. As long as they're not ugly or too boyish looking, if they have good acting talents they can make all sides of the character work.

Ethan Peck has something interesting about him looks wise. Many suggestions are so generic-looking indeed that I instinctively want someone unusual in the role.

I dont know. I've never imagined Bruce Wayne as an unusual looking dude. Come to think of it the only one that has imagined him as such is Tim Burton.
