This is another mock up to show the more casual, hip, edgy more Reeves style Batman that I know Tellaarr will adopt once he obtains the role. He is unconventional but has a heart. Cares about justice but will be flawed. He clearly can maintain a certain poise but also be calm and cunning, a striker but yet a calculating master detective. He’s got that wry confident Sherlock style detective smile like a cool calculating cat, dog or whichever cunning animal there is
Look I know I don’t have great photoshop skills and don’t have as much technical polish as Simon Kinberg but learn to appreciate this man for the role; BELIEVE in his scepter of talent and body. He has the courage to make it work. Believe in him
I trust completely in Reeves because I loved his two incredible Apes films, but my faith in him will ultimately be tested by who he will cast in the role. This casting will probably really make it or break it for me. And I am actually very lenient in accepting who dons the cape and cowl. I loved Christian Bale in the role (although he's far away from being hailed as the most faithful and the most well realised adaption compared to the source material) and it only took me about 5 minutes back in August of 2013 when the Batfleck announcement dropped to see the greatness of that casting (I remember my very first knee-jerk reaction being like: "Wtf? Did they run out of time and cast the first guy out of the street?", lol...). But then there's a line that I don't feel comfortable crossing with this casting. Because I have my own idea(s) about how this character should be portrayed. And for me, the looks of the actor encompass a big initial part of it. Not anyone deserves to play this character. It has to be unfair in a way to ensure that they'll get it right every time.If you have such high esteem for Reeves as a director, why not give him the benefit of the doubt in the event he casts someone you don’t automatically envision in the role?
This won’t be the first or last time a left-field choice would be picked for a major comic book role. Nor would it be uncommon for fan outcry to be proved wrong by the time the full performance is completely displayed. Hell, in this franchise alone both its majors players in Batman and Joker have had initial casting backlash, only for the respective actors to become icons of their generation.
Fair enough, thanks for clarifying.I trust completely in Reeves because I loved his two incredible Apes films, but my faith in him will ultimately be tested by who he will cast in the role. Look, I don't know how else to tell you this (and in the risk of sounding arrogant), but I cannot be swayed by a performance and the final product when I know that a few of my criteria have not been met right of the gate. I am not a part of that initial "outcry" that had its minds changed later on. That doesn't apply to me, trust me...
Today really was interesting, huh?![]()
They meant "tomorrow" in its broadest sense.
Really, isn't every day "tomorrow" at some point?
"Tomorrow" is the new "soon."They meant "tomorrow" in its broadest sense.

Probably because they don’t know who the final pick is, just maybe he last two or three and they’re waiting to hear the final decision.Have to say - if these people know, why don't they just say?
Who wouldn't want to be the person who breaks the Batman casting?
