But can he still be the next Bond?

Bale was cast on 9/11.We'll be lucky if we'll get the Batman casting before August. Because that month has been the one where both Bale and Affleck had been announced in the role for their films that had a February a start date initially (but with BvS later pushing the start of filming to May of 2014) and Reeves' Batman will also probably start shooting around that month. Just a pattern to keep in mind, especially since Reeves doesn't seem to be in a hurry to cast the role according to Sneider and Kroll (which is something that I hate for many reasons, ugh)...
As do I. For me, it's not really about plucking another successful superhero director, but more about the tone and what directors can bring to the character. I feel like Matt Reeves has more of a pulse on Batman, and the kind of world he inhabits more than the Russos do.Still prefer Reeves' style. Never been a fan of plucking one successful superhero director to another franchise. Their successes in one property doesn't automatically translate.
Really?! Too bored to check... Even "worse" in that case, relatively speaking...Bale was cast on 9/11.
Dude's a great actor. Catch-22 is my all-time favourite book, so I'm really excited to see him tackle Yossarian. Outside of Pattinson he's my #1 choice.![]()
PROS
- He falls within the age range Matt Reeves is looking at (25-33).
- He fits the general physical profile for the role (tall, dark-haired, square-jawed).
- He has a clear schedule.
- He is a very talented up-and-comer who isn't a household name just yet. Purely conjecture on my part, but he feels like a Matt Reeves-type of pick. And according to Jeff Sneider, he's picking up heat in the industry.
- Communicates with his eyes quite effectively.
CONS
- Going off of past interviews, he may not be interested in this sort of high-profile, celebrity-making role.
- He has a slight frame. Is he interested in the long hours at the gym?
Films to watch:
It Comes at Night
Piercing
The Sinner
Sweet Virginia
Upcoming:
Catch 22

One of his favorite childhood movies was Batman (1989).
Imho is too creepy. After watching Sweet Virginia I would never buy this guy as Bruce Wayne
