I've been reading the comments for a few days and am surprised that Michael Fassbender isn't getting more love on the boards. Is it the Magneto factor?

god damn are you bomer's agent lol

Who?
Because BatLobsterRises does not seem to agree with me.

There are a lot of rumors about henry being gay too. But he is Superman.
I don't think people care so much.

I hate this guy.

You know who really looks evil to me? Armitage!

To me, it's Wes Bentley.
I can't stand him.
He has an awkward face!

Take a bat suit and insert Matt Bomer's chin. He will be perfect.
Don't forget whoever they choose, it's all we're gonna see when he will wear his costume.

So, I don't understand the whole "I don't see him as Batman".
Of course, because we can't see Batman.
The gangsters will only see a giant bat, a chin, and that's all.
We'll see the same. The costume itself is created with the shape of the muscles.

Even if his body was not in the good shape, it will look like he's muscled all the same.

No. The actor who wear clothing will need a posture, he'll have to act with his eyes, he will need to be scary.
It's not just put the clothes of the bat. We need to feel that he is Batman.

It's another matter. It's about talent. Not the muscles.
You say it yourself. The eyes.

You can't just take some pics of another movie and think "he's batman" while he's playing another character.

His talent is something that will be showed when the auditions will start.

From now, except the good looks, I don't think we can say a lot.

just dont think he is that talented if he was he would be doing more than playing second fiddle to tatum and timberlake on film

Though, if hypothetically he did Batman, and did well, his Wayne would to best job at seeming NOT like Batman ;)

He is talented. Just not so famous he has major roles.
That's why it would be great if he could be cast.
C'mon, if you could have said that to every actors, nobody would be never chosen cause they have all started with minor roles before to be a main character somewhere.

(and you know, it also depends on his face. Maybe he was better looking at being Henry Hamilton than the main character. And it's his choice, too. )

I don't understand, TheFlamingCocco...

^ I don't think Reeve would be accepted now, by some standards here. That minor character in a submarine movie is gonna be our new Superman?

I agree in some ways and Keaton's voice was way better than Bale's which just got more ridiculous as the films went on.

I think they will, I think it's definitely gonna feature Kex and Goyer's already confirmed the Lex in the MOS world is a billionaire etc so I think we'll see him having rebuilt or in the process if rebuilding Metropolis.

I don't think they'll build it around him having killed Zod but I wouldn't be shocked if it was used against him to mess with his emotions.

I'd be okay with all of that ^^.

Yeah its the fact he is already playing another cbm character which I have no problem with it all. Fassabender is the ideal choice for Batman.

In 1966, Brolin married Jane Cameron Agee, an aspiring actress at Twentieth Century Fox, 12 days after they first met.[5] The couple had two children, Josh (b. 1968), and Jess (b. 1972). They were divorced in 1984, after 18 years of marriage. Jane died in a car accident on February 13, 1995, one day after son Josh's 27th birthday. Josh said on the October 14, 2008, episode of the Late Show with David Letterman that his parents met on the TV series Batman, where his mother was a casting executive.

awwwww

Do you mean he will have to act differently as Batman?
Because, honestly, a beast who fights and has got a strange voice, it's enough to me to make the difference. I've never has this problem while watching a Batman movie.

In Superman movies it's important. Clark is clumsy and Superman is so right!

But Batman...seriously?
How could he be a "playboy" while being Batman? No way.

Again, the talent. But not so necessary if the costume of the Bat already gets a big part in that stuff.

Matt ***** would suck as Batman.

He's too elfin and boyish looking, and dare I say effeminate for Batman. He's just always seemed kind of gay to me, I just get a very gay vibe off the dude and always have.

(and Cavill has always seemed more "manly" to me than him for those who make the comparison)

^ Well, he's gay. But also, I don't like the idea of Superman being more masculine than Batman. They should be equals.

^^Why do you keep calling him Matt ***** lol?

I do find Wes Bentley to be kind of an interesting choice...while he's not my number one and I'm not like vouching for him, I have warmed up to him a little these past few days.

On the contrary, wouldn't he want to be far from any Batman project?

Joke or Freudian slip? :oldrazz:

:woot::woot::woot:

Yeah, of course.
But Matt does not seem gay when he acts as a playboy.
Anyway, that can be worked.

He did not seem gay in his earlier movies either.

Some people don't like his way to move in WC. But he does not walk in this way naturally.

I think you're confusing the character and the person.

And I was not thinking about them being equals about their sexuality.
Actually, Henry is so manly I doubt you'll find someone who looks like more manly.
Or you could try with a very muscled man, but this man would just look dumb with his muscles.

I don't find Matt is gay. I think he's classy and elegant, like a playboy should be.
On screen, ou don't feel like he's in love with a man or something in this way.
He looks at boobs, asses and he even kisses and beds lots of women.

Matt ***** would suck as Batman.

He smiles all the time. He's always nice. It's hard to find some pics where he is bad. Yeah, he seems so nice he looks less manly sometimes.

But just sometimes. Watch some WC episodes where he has to show his authority. You'll see he can be manly.
