The most terrifying in Batman to me is the costume.
Yeah, there are the eyes. But you can't clearly see them.
If these eyes could be blue, it would be so beautiful to see!!
That ones of Henry for example.

Matt Bomer has blue eyes, they are piercing. It would be AWE-SOME!

I don't want a Batman who charms criminals, though.

You know, a few months ago, I thought Caveizel would make a good Batman... but now, I'm not so sure. It's just NONE of these suggestions excite me.

I know the feeling. The THR list was quite disheartening to me. I hope none of those people get the role.

Except those. As well as Gosling.

It's a good thing this is all so early though. If this were late in the game, I'd be worried. Very worried.

Indeed. Not gonna lie, everything we've heard about this flick so far already has me pretty worried, so this casting will pretty much make or break my anticipation at this point.

As much as I like Bomer on White Collar, I don't think he could pull off the darkness and intensity both Wayne and Batman requires. He's got the playboy thing down, but Bruce is so much more than that.

The thing with both these roles is that Wayne and Batman are two different characters. Each are unrecognizable from the other, yet at the same time, you still care about both of them. And that actor has to play both. They are two, and yet they are one if that makes any sense. See Keaton and Bale, which is why they have been the most popular.

That's why I always hated Armie Hammer's suggestion. He would just play Armie Hammer as Bruce Wayne and Armie Hammer in the Batman costume.

That's how I feel about every actors here. How can we know if one of them could portray Batman well?

We can't judge from some pics. Ok, we could, but I haven't any pics of Matty in a bat suit so...

Matt Bomer would be really unreconizable.
Impossible to think this playboy could do that.

With his costume and with a different voice (batman uses his strange machine to modify his voice) it would be sensas!!

The dude is married and even in WC, he does not do that.

Ok, maybe sometimes he has this weird relationship with Tim Dekay..

I think his presence and good looks would contrast Henry's.

I like this as bruce... but don't agree Henry's presence and more in the costume is not too easy to contrast and IMO this guy could not contrast Henry´s presence even I think it couldn´t top him...

TeamArmitage! He has a gentle face.. up to his eyes. His intense eyes hint that there's something more unsettling behind him. And he can't help it.

Now as Batman, he can use his eyes to his advantage. We know he can have an intimidating deep voice, and I think it's safe to say he's played brooding characters in the past.

His bit role in CA makes me think he'd be a good Wayne. A person who initially seems mostly normal, but there's something dark about him that you can't put your finger on.

You can't forget his face.
On the contrary, he would not be ridiculous near Henry because he is handsome, looks wise and elegant. (+ very clever!)
With the other ones, I can't see a scene where Lois would be tempted to be with Bruce or Clark being very jealous if he sees Bruce with Lois...
That's why I think if Matt is more handsome than Henry, it's a big PLUS.
And remember Henry looks older only IRL. In MOS, the guy looked like 25-30...

I'm sure you're a good person and all, but

No one's questioning Bomer's attractiveness, but his ability to convey a troubled past and intense intimidation. I'm not sure Bomer has the screen presence.
