So Bale was offered 50 million dollars to return. I love Bale, I love Nolan's Batman series, it is my favorite Batman series, but it needs to stand on it's own. Having Bale in Man of Steel 2 kind of taints the ending of TDKR. Let Nolan's series stand alone. Bale should not return. He's my favorite Batman, but I don't think he should return.

Well the guy threw out an outlandish suggestion. Jason Mamoa... obviously he couldn't play Bruce Wayne dead if he was shot and killed. But what about Mamoa as Batman? I think he represents that stark contrast from Cavill and Bale that audiences would definitely be intrigued in seeing. Crazy outside of the box choice, but interesting.

Whoever said Jason Mamoa.....why do they have a job? And why are they talking about casting?

I think he's got the look of a young Bruce. I need to watch Grimm to see his acting.

Unfortunately, he falls in the category of TV actors from new shows that many will not know therefore he won't be a favorite of anyone. But I'm all for giving unknowns a break out role.

that bale rumor was misinterpreted. i read somewhere that bale was actually offered 50 dollars to star in the sequel to newsies. i heard he declined.

I think Momoa is in there due to lack of action film heroes these days... There are no more young Stallone, Mel Gibson types anymore. So Jason Momoa is all that's left. Unless you count Vin Diesel or the Rock.

Clooney as Lex might be okay, could be Epic actually if he was cast.

Gibson can do much more than just punch things though, IMO. Say what you will about him, but he knows story structure and is a good actor, IMO.
