Still wouldn't be much of a fight.
So that pull up scene from the special, im likely wrong about this but the more i see it, the more i see CG enhancement on his chest. Its not an issue if they did enhance his definition and i havent seen anyone really make the same comment but its something I've noticed.
I'm okay with a not perfectly fit Bane, but one large enough to conceivably beat Batman.
Like Roach in Raiders in comparison to Ford
But I'm also fascinated with the idea of a lean and fast Bane.
Lol that's not a flattering shot
While he certainly wasn't cut (that wasn't the look they were going for), regardless of how big Tom Hardy is in real life they did do a good job of making him appear a lot bigger on film.
Some people were surprised he wasn't really 6'4" like he looked like in the film.

For the record i know affleck got in great shape and I'm sure its all his real physique, but i wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if it was enhanced.
Maybe, maybe not. Either way, it doesn't matter if they enhanced him or not. It looks good and thats really all that matters.
I'm honestly in no real hurry to see Bane again, especially when there are far more interesting characters from Batman's rogues gallery that have yet to be explored on the big screen. Bring on Hush, Black Mask, Hugo Strange, and my personal favorite, Dr. Simon Hurt. Hell, why not think outside the box a little and draw inspiration from BTAS? Kyodai Ken would make for an excellent nemesis!
I'm excited to read this article
