I haven't read all of Batman R.I.P., but according to wikipedia and other comic websites:

-Gordon begs a Gotham newspaper not to publish documents about Bruce Wayne's true parents?!??

-Gordon and a police officer arrive at Wayne Manor and are trapped...

- An unmasked Batman is grieving besides the Joker?!!?!?!?

So, Gordon knows Batman is Bruce Wayne? I mean, why else would Gordon beg the newspaper not to publish documents regarding the Wayne family.

And, the Joker now knows Batman is Bruce Wayne?

- supposedly there's a scandal/rumor that Thomas was a drunk who drugged his wife and forced his wife to have an orgy with his buddies, including Alfred (with photo evidence apparently). it's hinting that Alfred might be his actual father, but this is all most likely part of Black Glove mind-f@#$!! Bruce into insanity.

- Gordon takes one officer to Wayne Manor to talk about said scandal and their ambushed by the Villains who have taken over the Batcave as their new headquarters. the officer is killed and he's saved by Damian and Talia.

- he doesn't grieve, he was laughing. and it was more like " oh my god, everything is finally coming together now and i can't believe i didn't solve it earlier".

it's been suggested that Gordon has known Batman's identity for a while now (Batman said he's too good a detective to not have figured it out by then in Hush). and Joker is very much unhinged right now, so even if he had the mental capacity right now to process the information right in front of him he probably doesn't care because, as it's already been theorized here, his real enemy is BATMAN.

The though had crossed my mind that Jezebel Jet was actually Poison Ivy. However I dismissed the idea of this . Due to the fact Ivy's not as crafty as this Jet Character is.

And Riddler wasn't that crafty till Loeb wrote him in Hush (which was latter undermined by Hush Returns) so who knows? I just guessed Ivy because of Morrison saying it was an A list bat villain.

Well Marvel killed off Captain America and survived, DC prolly figures they can do the same thing so long as someone takes Bats place like Bucky did for Cap. You still have the hero, it's just a different man in the uniform.

Yes(and it's amazing even after about 19 issues after his death and Bucky replacing him, it's still great), but I just can't see Bruce Wayne replaced.
