I just came back and saw this image again and a few things were bothering me still, so I decided to fix them before I packed it in for the night...see if you can spot the changes...

I kinda did too, but someone mentioned not liking the small eyes so i thought I'd make them larger. They are more true to the comics too.

I also yellowed up the \S/ a bit too.

...okay not really. But yeah, BatFan, you really are the shniz, my niz. This pic is GREAT and just became my desktop image too.

I rushed this one out in literally 5 minutes while waiting for a friend to show up. It's probably my worst manip since starting, but BatFan could probably polish it into something halfway decent.

On second glance, I'm not sure there's anything anyone could do to make that image look halfway decent, but hey... it'd be a real good challenge

Ask and ye shall receive. SUPER (lol) quick and totally sloppy job, but here's that image with both of them with more traditional comics colors.

And here's BatFan1979's color correction of my original, but with the glowing eyes added back in (not quite the same, but close)...

Now that's what I'm talking about when I say I want Batman with eye shine. Not just some blank opaque eye holes that don't let him make an expression, but using CGI to make his actual eyes glow so he can narrow them and convey emotion.

I know exactly what you mean about the tweaks, but those little tweaks can really sell the image!

I think it looks great actually. There are just three things I'd look at if it were me, but its totally up to you:

1. maybe tone down the glow a bit on Bats' eyes
2. try to shadow Supes up a bit on image left, opposite where the light is hitting him image right.
3. go back in closer and take out some of the halo-effect around Cavill. Not too much, just a bit.

Other than those very minor things, you've got a kick-ass image there!

Dude, I gotta say hats off again. So sweet and simple. I added a nanotube texture just because it seems that costume designers these days are obsessed with it, and it's likely to make it to the final. If I had to pick between these two, I'd go for the black suit color scheme. But I think there's a happy (or... gloomy?) medium, with an extremely dark, almost black blue, which would be my preference.

I'm gonna try some of the tweaks you suggested above and repost...

...and maybe my buddy will actually show up soon and pry me away from my laptop! hah!

Here's I think my ultimate color scheme for Bats. It's in between the black and more classic silver age blue.

Gave him just the slightest bit of glow for the eyes. I agree with "godisawesome" that more emotion can be added to the eyes by controlling the amount of glow as he squints, etc. - I really don't see a problem with the white eyes as far as acting goes. To me, the white eyes are an absolute must. If Snyder doesn't employ them, regardless of what he does for the suit, he's missing a serious opportunity. Fleck's jaw is perfect for Bats... his eyes are fine, but when you give him the white eyes he goes from being "Ben Affleck playing Batman" to BATMAN.

I've been staring at Affleck's freaking jaw so often over the last 2 weeks that I even know what shot you harvested that pic from. I think I'm going to need to get glasses after all of this manippin!

Okay... time to see if I can whip up one more of him and supes before this dude gets here.

I think they should use CGI in that respect too. I thought also they could motion capture Ben's actual forehead, put a black (or whatever the color of the cowl is) skin over it and allow Ben to control the motion of his expressions as he would naturally.

I really hope Batman has lenses this time... Detective Mode is the best use of it I've seen, so that way you can still see his eyes for any scenes where he needs to be more expressive

Hey everyone, long-time lurker here. I made this rough concept of Wonder Woman using HeroMachine3 after hearing the rumor that her costume would be armor-based. I took my inspirations from Roman plate armor, Superman's MOS outfit, and a combination of Injustice, New 52, and Issue #600 WW.

I dig it!!! Nice and hi-res too. I hide behind smaller images I agree the Arkham suit has a sort of inevitability about it, right? I'm pretty sure we'll get either that or a New 52 suit. Although I'll keep my fingers crossed for the DCU Online suit with a nanotube texture.

Here's another Arkham one I just whipped up. The scale difference between the two is SUPPOSED to indicate that superman is floating up several tens of feet away, and NOT that he's got Ant-Man powers. But I'm not good enough with photo manipping to know how to appropriately blur the focus to make that clear...
