I think Deadpool will do very well with it's targeted audience. Even the internet peeps all seem to like it. I don't recall hearing any complaints.

For me, I won't watch the movie. The humor was awful for me. It felt forced and quite frankly very annoying. Watching the trailers was rough enough, I can't imagine sitting through the entire movie.

But I'm probably just a bore because the internet peeps seem to think it's hilarious. I wish I felt the same way. :csad:

Thank you, because I have no prior frame of reference for this character and my reaction is the same. It all feels kind of forced to me. I will go see it and I do want to be entertained by it. So hopefully I'll be able to go along for whatever ride it wants to take me on. But in terms of it appealing to me beforehand?... not so much, no.

Btw, I kind of feel the same way about Suicide Squad. I don't know those characters (except for the Joker). Nothing I have seen from the trailer has me drooling to see it or anything. Again, I hope I like it! But it isn't really connecting with me all that much.

To me, Suicide Squad is a little different. I like the "mood" of the trailer and I just find that David Ayer is such a shoe-in pick as director and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. Hopefully it's good though. I wasn't the biggest fan of the trailer.

Yeah, same here. I used to read comics with Deadpool (much more than straight Deadpool comics) and while the humor attached to the character is far from subtle, I don't recall it being so juvenile and forced in the comics. It's been a while since I read those though, but I know that comics made me chuckle quite often, while the trailer pretty much annoyed me. Perhaps it is the same kind of humor, but it works better written...

I will say that I am kind of intrigued with how they go about telling such a story, and the cast looks really talented and the characters all potentially interesting. But I guess all I'm really saying is that I don't really know them.

Since it's being discussed, I'll go on record saying that Deadpool looks completely awesome. They're sticking to the "breaking the fourth wall" approach that makes the character work, and I personally loved the humor. It's very adult, which I like. "Wait till you get a load of me" with a picture of his crotch..... pure awesome.

Nice pics on this page. Lol at the wizard of Oz especially aqualion. Clever mirroring of the Bats and that woman on the house top. Aquaman looking fierce. The helmet and red sign, nice matching with our current posters.

And that pic of supes on the steps is really beautiful in its simplicity

I would love a Lex poster similar in marketing

Everytime I make a classic trinity manip a lot of people say it should be Adam West instead of Michael Keaton, so now I made these posters inspired by the recent BvS posters with 60s' Batman (and now a lot of people will say it should be Keaton instead of West :whatever:)

I loved your original idea and took the liberty of expanded on it by modifying the Adam West pic and switching Chris for George.

...there is something to be said for velvet trunks and satin bottoms...

...which is "no thank you" !

...except for Linda Carters in which case I say Yes Please! And thank you...

Gotta say I never realized George Reeve's trunks were velvet! Must have cut down on the chaffing....:sly:
