Zodiac is that movie with Jake Robert Downey?

Don't forget, X-Men made only $157m, what's not so high for usual summer blockbuster.

In my opinion, IM will open with $50-60m weekend and get in total $175-185m, if it has good legs.

BTW, Zodiac will blow everybody's mind

good point

again though I do think if Iron Man looks sweet in the trailer, the opening weekend will be huge, and if the movies good, overall it should have some nice legs to it

Ya really are sold on Zodiac aye? I am definatley gunna see it, I don't have quite the positive feeling you have for it, I more so have like a...this could kick ass, or be a bit dissapointing too feel to it, we'll see

and maybe my pre summer hype is being completely sucked away by 300 right now so I'm not even thinking about other movies

Adjust X-Men for inflation and you'll see that equates I belive to 185 million in 2006 dollars. I'm going off of memory. At the time the studios had no faith in comic book films in general. Things have changed. Hell Ghost Rider got the 120 million dollar treatment and a 2hour runtime. :)

I truly hope not.

But, I have no faith in Mark Steven Johnson.

absolutley none, i don't know if nic cage is good for Blaze or not, but it doesn't matter, MSJ killed it before it started, comic book character no. 2 that he turned into a music video

I agree. Everytime I saw those words, I look the same.

But I just can't get over how cool Surfer looks. If Story and team do him justice, FF2 will be fantastic.

Also, I've seen Spider-man already, two times to be exact.

Those are big IFs. I'd have been more lenient had the first film been even remotely good. But alas, Fox, crappy script, subpar performances ruined everything for me. For what it's worth, I thought the teaser was kick ass. But that won't brighten my day knowing how high my anticipation was for X3 because of their trailers, and the final product I got.

But Marvel will give us our monies worth with FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

I'm actually more excited about Surfer than Spider-Man 3.

I am more excited about Transformers than either of them (and I didn't even watch the cartoon as a kid -), but HP:OOTP is my 2007 mainstreme blockbuster hit I am looking for.

I am excited about TF as well. But, still, there is something about Surfer that has my undivided attention.

Probably your fetish for silver-plated humanoids. :o

Come on, Crook; this is the hype, you gotta attack statements like I made with the quickness.

The hype was slowing down...you know how it is. :ninja:
