But there's a yellow crane indicating that its at the construction site, plus what would be Snadman's motivation for taking Gwen up a building and dropping her? All he wants to do is get away with the money in the armored car. And Gwen could rewear the same shirt, I mean Sandman wear's the same thing during the whole movie.

hey i dont knwo what is going on. i just know that gwen has a pink shirt and that there were set pics where we saw eddie with the camera and gwen in the pink shirt. then we saw spidey and gwen in the wires(spidey saved here) and it was daytime.

Well unless its unfinished CGI, it looks like a rope to me.

it has to be Venoms web, because if it was anything else spider-man would have no trouble breaking out of it, especially if it was a rope. we know that venoms webbing is stronger then spider-man himself so no wonder hes choking. a normal rope hed have no problem with

Here's my theory on Spider-Man Day:

Gwen Stacy is speaking at the festival (as seen in the theatrical trailer). Also, according to the script review, she is interested in Spider-Man, which I suppose is self-evident.

Spider-Man arrives, does his thing, etc. Then, enter Sandman. Now, however he is introduced into this scene (maybe Spider-Man hears the sirens or maybe the car speeds right by?), it is known that Sandman and Spider-Man get into it.

(Here's where my theory kicks in)
What if Gwen, who is seeking the attention of Spider-Man, follows the pursuit in hopes of catching a glimpse of her hero in action? This distracts Spider-Man, which is obvious to Sandman. Sandman needs to make a get away, so he hurls Gwen up into the air, and gets away as Spider-Man goes to save her. That could make sense. And all of the stuff that Spider-Man is diving through to get to her as she falls is damage that Sandman is creating to further create a distraction.

She is wearing that same outfit during the Spider-Man Day scenes. And to those who said "She might be wearing the same outfit", that's a load of crap. True, Sandman is wearing the same clothes, but that's only because when he transformed, his clothing was altered too. In movies, I can guarantee you that there is almost never the same outfit...especiallly for a female role.

OK, you've read my theory on Spider-Man Day, here's my thoughts on the battle royale.

Everyone for a moment, just take a second to look at these. IT IS AT NIGHT! THE ENTIRE FIGHT TAKES PLACE IN THE EVENING.

I've got that out of my system. And for those who are saying that Harry dies at dawn or during the day or whatever...WRONG! There is light yes, but just like the picture of MJ (fourth picture, above), it is provided by the lights that are all over the construction site.

You don't need to show every exact second of the fight. If they showed the entire duration of scenes, then this movie would be over 24 hours long (depending on how many days the film takes place during).

The pictures don't lie. Most of the scenes show the battle taking place during the night (not sure what time, but it is most definitely night). It seems that the battle will finish with Harry's death. The sun starts to come up, offering viewers a visually stunning scene. Very epic indeed.

Okay, yeah your right it probably isn't part of the battle royale. But your theory doesn't make much sense to me becuase Peter is diving down off a building to save Gwen and when he's chasing the armored car he's at ground level. So he would have had to climb up a building in order for that to work.

Perhaps the armored car chase doesn't remain at ground level. Once Sandman gets the money, there's no point for him to stay in it. He tries to get away from Spider-Man and the fight is taken to building tops.

Quick question:

Do we think Venom and Sandman team up (ala the Batman films). If so, I think that'd be really cheesy. This is what I want to see happen:

Venom has MJ, which brings Peter and Harry. Since the battle is being televised, Sandman sees it and decides to take down Spider-Man. He and Venom have the same objective, but they don't necessarily shake hands and create an alliance.

Venom sees that Sandman may actually be the one to take down Spider-Man, so he bites him, leading to Sandman's death.

Venom is about to kill Spider-Man when Harry takes the blow and dies, further giving Spider-Man reason to hate the symbiote and gives him more of a desire to take it down.

They both hate Spiderman. I think eventually Sandman will know that Peter is spidey and brock already knows who he is so all in all they share the same intention to kill spiderman.

Just thinking of a villain "team-up" just brings up bad memories of Joel Shumacher.

Besides, Venom wants to kill Spider-Man himself, why would he want Sandman's help? Besides, Venom has more than enough power.
