Gwen Speculation.

I know everyone wants Gwen Dead (well me and my friends do....i think i understand why my partner calls me sick) well i have an idea. if Peter gets close to Gwen when he has the suit and Eddie notices, Venom (Eddie) will think that peter has something for her, so in the final showdown Venom will throw MJ AND Gwen off a building (construction site) at the same time and Pete tries to save them both. he jumps and catches MJ and uses his webbing to save Gwen, but as we all know the comics, it doesnt actually go to plan.

what do you guys think?

naaa, it has to b GG that kills her! so maybe harry will....and a way to make it look fair in the movie harry will also die helping peter, and regret what happened....i hope so anyway....... i can sense a body count already....Capt. stacy, gwen, harry, and a bunch of goons in sandmans way im guessing! and i hope we see venom eat some one! lol...remember its a 'dark' sequel

I like this idea but I don't think the movie will be that dark.

My guess is that Raimi will flip/flop the MJ/Gwen storyline and kill off MJ. Dunst has made it pretty clear that this is it for her. I doubt they'd recast her role. But.....ya never know....

MJ was at the funeral and Kirsten said she would come back for another movie, so she doesn't die. She is also shown in the trailer with Harry as he is dying... which is probably the end of the final battle.

A lot of us believe that she was replaced with MJ. She could still be in it, but if she's not I think it could be because of Bryce's pregnancy during filming.

You know, condidering the extras from the Spider-man 2 DVD I thought that they would never have had Gwen Stacy in the movie at all. They seemed to imply that Gwen and MJ were amalgamated into movie MJ. Not that I'm not unhappy with Gwenn ion the movie. Bryce Dallas Howard looks perfect in the role. I'm just a little puzzled by why they'd state "No Gwen Stacy" on the DVd extras for Spider-man 2.

Gwen should die similar to as she did in the books. She's being portrayed as a woman seduced by Peter's "wiles" in the movie, so her dying after becoming so attached to him in the middle of a fight or in an accident Peter can't rescue her from would at least be a nod to fans of the classic era.

in the leaked trailer, gwen is at the cemetary at harrys grave along with peter, that means gwen doesnt die, the only girl we know so far that was kidnaped and taken to the construction site is mj, she gets in the cab and eddie brock takes her to the construction site and webs the cab, that scene will be cool.

gwen's role in the story in this point is still completely perplexing but she's hot so whatever.

Maybe MJ and Pete are over (once again) but will get back together in the next movie and Pete and Gwen will get together.

I do like though the idea of the person who started this thread. If there is a love triangle between Gwen, Peter, and Brock---wouldn't Brock still go after her if Peter is making moves on his girl even when wearing the symbiote suit?

I mean he goes to the church to ask for God to kill Parker, now he's got the Venom suit, and now he has his chance to kill Parker and get his girl back.
