Age of Extinction Beast Wars?

Well they did use Skorp. in this movie so that could mean other beast wars transformers in the next movie?

God no.

Loooooooved the cartoon series. Would make a terrible movie.

Agreed. (Absolutely no surprise there, eh?)

Beast Wars was absolutely phenomenal as far as the premise went, as far as characters went, as far as storyline went, and how it weaved itself so wonderfully into the Generation 1 cartoon mythology.

...And that's where it should remain. Beast Wars has no place as a movie following Transformers, because it has no way to weave into it, and that'd be stupid. The movie franchse is its own mythos, and Beast Wars should not be a part of it.

Comics, on the other hand, well, everything good can happen with comics. IDW is so good words cannot describe. :D

I would have to say this would be a great idea....
Out of all the series and seasons this would have to be my favorite...
Dinobot was kick'en that ass!

Actually if they were interested in making a Beast Wars film, i doubt it would be hard at all,
they would have to change the year they land on earth depending on what year they decide Megatron landed on earth looking for the Allspark. Seeing as any century is possible, unless the prequels have given one, the story could take place between the 1st and 15th century. The golden disks would of been made by sector 7. The maximals assume the predacons are looking for energon but are in fact looking for their decepticon leader whom they will revive and help conquer the universe with the allspark, and basically humans will play into the story unlike the protohumans did in Beast wars.

So its possible to make a beast wars story, and seeing how successful transformers is currently, if the sequel and third do well, no doubt Beast wars will be in discussions.

...Which would make the movie "Beast Wars" in movie only. If that happens, they have to explain WHAT Maximals and Predacons are, and if they become simply factions aligned in the war, then why not just refer to them as Autobots and Decepticons? There's no need for confusion, and the movie has to be made understandable to the masses, not just Beast Wars fans.

Regardless of how successful the movie is, Transformers in general (and by that I mean Generation 1) is accessible, because the premise is simple. When you start introducing other robots who aren't the same ones who were present in the first movie, one who shares a name with the Autobot leader in the first film, and the fact that they're in an uncharted time zone altogether creates needless confusion.

No Cybertronian, aside from Megatron, was on Earth for countless years. According to the prequel (the four-part comics prequel, marked as official, published by IDW), Bumblebee arrives first, and then Blackout, Starscream, and Barricade make their way from Mars to Earth. Then not too long after the movie takes place.

The only way a Beast Wars movie would really make sense is if it happened along the same lines as the cartoon - they didn't know they were on Earth, but all along they were, and eventually something happens to show them that they are. In which case it'd be some amount of a rehash of the cartoon, but being that it would essentially be no more than a sideshow of the main showcase of the movie/sequel/trilogy, the chances of it are unlikely. ... Else they'd be cranking out a Hobbit or Silmarillion movie to capitalize on the success of Jackson's LotR movies.

Just a thought but would anyone want to see a Beast Wars based movie? I mean it was and is one of the most profitable lines transformers has had recently and the stories were great. Japan had two more series and an antimated movie so how about a movie in the U.s.?

No, no way. How could they possibly make a box-office hit of Beast Wars!? I mean, they really would have a hard time trying to have a realistic story behind Beast Wars. I vote no to that.

I think it would be hard, but after watching the series and being able to say it was my favorite out of all the trasformers i think soemhow they could make it really cool

see they could make it at the end of the series and make a better movie and story then Beast Machines I'm sure. Besides there were all those pods left in orbit.

A Beast Wars won't happen...if anything, the Transformer sequel(s) will have some animal-based TF's, like Dinobot(s), Black Arachnia, some TF's like that.

Beast Wars was a good show, but did anyone else get the first season and the second disc, the episode were all misplaced?

The actual ninth episode was in the number eleven spot, and it was all screwed up.

I watched it when i was a kid and remember a lot but i loved the show

Despite it being one of my favorite TF lines, I don't see how a live-action movie would be possible.
